Description
We can now reveal that Parklife will be relocating to Heaton Park in Manchester for the 2013 festival.

Heaton Park is widely considered to be one of the premier outdoor venues in the north of England and has of course hosted the legendary concerts from the likes of The Stone Roses and Oasis. We are very lucky that this year no other large scale events have been planned for the park and that has opened it up for Parklife to go and plant a flag in what is a huge move from Platt Fields. We are really proud to see Parklife 2013 at Heaton Park – it definitely feels like this is going to be a key moment in the Parklife history books and see the festival grow even further.

After the last couple of years bursting at the seams in Platt Fields, the extra space at Heaton (one of the largest municipal parks in Europe) is going to give the Parklife team that extra room to create an even wider spread of madness and entertainment across the site. Larger dance arenas, more spectacular production, more hidden nooks and crannies. More of everything that makes Parklife what it is and Manchester’s official start to the summer.

Please check out the all new Parklife website to see the full line-up: www.parklife.uk.com

Parklife 2013. From Manchester, with Love.

Bestival 2013 on 5 Sep 2013

Location: Robin Hill

Bestival is an award winning 4 day boutique music festival set at Robin Hill – a beautiful leafy country park (a veritable Garden of Eden!) near Downend and Newport in the heart of the Isle of Wight.

Best Major Festival 2012
‘Fans’ Favourite Festival’ 2011
‘Best Major Festival’ 2010
‘Best Medium-Sized Festival’ 2009, 2007, 2006 & 2005
(UK Festival Awards)

The wonderful world of Bestival was born out of ten fun years of pioneering music events and record releases from Rob da Bank’s Sunday Best empire. The BBC Radio 1 leftfield DJ had a dream to one day create his vision of how the modern day festival should be. Along with Creative Director and wife Josie da Bank and co founders / partners John and Ziggy from Get Involved that dream is now fulfilled. On a mission to change the face of independent festival culture, the fearless foursome are bringing some magic to the shores of the Solent and spreading the love worldwide.

It’s Rob and Josie da Bank’s creative vision that sets Bestival apart. Whilst the massive musical brain of Rob ensures the Bestival line-up is the most eclectic you’ll ever experience, it’s Josie’s creative wand that casts its magic over Bestival land. From the most original boutique campsite experience, to the Bollywood Cocktail Bar, a Wishing Tree Stage, fancy dress en mass and even a Swamp Shack, it’s this uniqueness that makes Bestival a wondrous world of discovery and adventure that will inspire peace, love and dancing not only in September but all year round…
