Ok, this is just to make fun of that "band" of these Michigan fuckheads.

This is not made to amuse or something like that, also this band isn't too good for me like that fatty hxc kid of cyanide257 said, he fails so hard.

What I want to say is that this band is shit, why do people like it? why do they sell records? WHY DO THEY EXIST? Whoever bought their CD should be hanged or executed with a nailgun... it's amazing how many polycounts their new album has here!

Sure, there are kids who think this band is the most brutal yet melodic n infernulz lyrics thing they have ever heard (especially the scene kids). But for listeners of REAL melodic death metal, this band is something to laugh at and joke about.

That's right, those queers with "lolhipster" posses are the innovators of the awesome "real, serious-ass, murderous" melodicity.

I honestly don't understand why faggots have had a sudden interest in Melodic Death Metal (although this is not new for metalcore at all). This is disgusting. Check this if you don't belive me:

These bands are too stupid to realize that relying on the same plagiarised riffs throughout one single album does not get you anywhere. Well, maybe with the scene kids it does, but not with people who have a sense of integrity.

Just talking about them will make my pubic hair fall for the fact that they are total crap and useless musicians, the drummer (if hitting randomly the drumset like an epileptic idiot makes you a drummer, ok) is ridiculous.

The vocals. They're horrible. Everyone can perform almost growly screamo screeches, and theirs are stupid as fuck. He attemps to sound brutal/angsty, but it ends up sounding ridiculus. I can't believe that they actually need a member to exclusively perform vocals, even Chester Bennington or Fred Durst could do them. What a complete joke.

With a band this boring and typical, I would rather run outside naked, take a shit in the middle of the street and be arrested by The Police. That would be much more entertaining and adrenaline pumping than this worthless band.

This band is the most generic, boring bullshit I've ever heard in "extreme" metal. The first thing that I noticed is that there are no balls. I am aware that there are bands that have managed to come up with good shit without the balls factor (Shining, for example), but balls in BDM's sound feel necessary, because their songs feel very empty whenever emoness comes up, which is another big problem in every album.

What we have here is even worse than St. Anger... these idiots are emos who heard an At The Gates song, then some My Chemical Romance, and predicted the trend coming and fucking ran with it... now, I don't have something against ATG, but this is total garbage.

They even have the cynism to say "the record is very well writen and has elements of pop and electronic music. Its one of my favorite records" about an emofag band called Scarlet. Are they that trendy and just wanna be accepted, or do they really think that this is REAL metal? LMFAO

Anyways, THIS IS SOME AWESOME MURDEROUS MELODY-FILLED MUSIC so all the pitninjas can unleash their angst and feel mighty and powerful.... Muhammed!, I don't understand those stupid moshers, music wasn't made to do karate and kung fu at shows, music was made to enjoy, every cool concert I've been has been ruined by those idiots, they even dared to mosh at Torsofuck and Belphegor shows here... but oh well, enjoy your moshing brutality, faggots.

I do fucking know how Black Dahlia Murder have so many playcounts here, and how they got signed, but not even Three Days Grace and Trivium combined could do a worse job than they did with the newer albums. Once again, fuck Black Dahlia Murder and fuck this fake-ass "murderous metal". Ignore this band at all costs and listen to something more worthwhile.

I have no idea how they got so popular; they're worse than Taking Back Sunday and Green Day combined. Black Dahlia Murder is the reason why metal is slowly dying. Nowadays it's all about who's better than who in terms of faggotry, which is not what metal, is all about, or how many goddamn hardcore riffs you can fit into each song.

If I were you, I'd listen to some Hypocrisy, or some Amon Amarth, or even Mors Principium Est if you want sweet melodies in your metal. However, if you want some generic emo gay bullshit... then go for it.

And to finish I call this "melodic death metal for faggots" because faggots love cocks and don't give two fucks about not being faggots. What a perfect comparison.

I wasn't going to add any pop, rnb, reggaeton, hip-hop/rap, or banda (some incredibly annoying regional mexican music sub-genre) artists to this list, because I highly dislike those genres in their whole extension; nonetheless, I still added some artists pertaining to these music styles, as examples of what I detest the most of such music styles.

Hearing anything by any of these artists will make me:

a. Politely ask to have the music turned off/switched.
b. Try to get away.
c. By any means stop the music.
d. Prevent myself from listening to it.

I Fail To Empathize Once Again

On the owning of music...

███There is an endless discussion in most of the metal "community" about weather or not people should download music. The ones that do it support their cause, while the ones that don't claim that doing it is a terrible offence against the band that creates the music we mere mortals listen to.

███It seems like metalheads--especially those that regard metal to be "their life", and who literally worship the bands they prefer--even though they claim to be either open-minded or so "hardcore" that nothing will truly disturb them, will certainly snap when they find out a person downloads music rather than buying it.

███They simply can't understand how someone, anyone, could choose not to support the artists that create the music they claim to love so much. How could people fall so low, be so pathetic and feeble!? How?

███Now, I don't exactly believe owning CDs isn't better than downloading ripped mp3's with slightly inferior quality to that of the actual record; furthermore, physically owning an album is quite a pleasurable contracture. Having the jewel-case (or whatever package contains the album) in your hands, gazing at the art, reading the lyrics as you listen to your newly-acquired album. It is truly a magnificent sensation. I still buy CDs, too. I physically own a fair amount of them.

███However, some people (such as myself) can live without that. For me, what is most important about an album is the music, everything else is secondary.

███I download music illegally. I buy pirated albums that cost me $2 (dollars), I burn them and give them away, or even sell them. I use soulseek, I thrive through hundreds of torrents, and ed2k links. I use ares, frostwire, DC++, eMule. I even google for files haused at public file-hosting sites, and for FTPs and directory listings; likewise, I post in warez-forums.

███And I do not give a damn. Why should I? And most importantly: why should I care either about supporting the bands? They don't need my help. They don't even know who I am, and they don't care about that. If the bands are great, I'm sure other people will provide them with the sufficient support they seem to require.

███I can also almost see the answer coming at me: "If everyone thought that way...". That's right! If everyone thought like me, Metal would probably die! No-one would actually buy music! They'd just "steal" it! Except for the ones who upped the album of course, and that wouldn't be enough to keep the music alive! Musicians would drop out their bands and restrain their artistic urges, and they'd have to get real jobs instead! Metal would die!

███While such a vision isn't completely wrong, what is wrong is assuming it as a fact rather than as a far-fetched presumption. Face reality. Most people don't think that way, and it's not going to change overnight. Bands will continue to get some recognition and some cash for their hard work, and meanwhile, leeches like me will continue to get our music for free whilst "others" support the bands: we'll continue to feed off of those who actually buy the music.

███It's actually a soothing sort of feeling, with every download I'm stealing a tiny bit from every single person who in fact pays for their music.

███Also I am a self-centered, and egoistic bastard, to whom the number one pressing issue is myself. Me.
So, Why should I care for bands, if bands don't care for me? And even if they did, that doesn't instantly mean I should give a damn.

███Moreover, I do what's best for myself. The best way for me to get something is that way that allows for my goal to be attained with the least possible effort, and what matters is that I get what I want, when I want it.

███Incidentally, the genre I've been listening to the most is Black Metal. This genre in particular possesses a high amount of "true" followers that worship their favorite bands as if they were dealing with higher, supernatural entities (a type of entity that I deem to be a product of imagination, at best). They thrive to be the most "kvlt", and to show others that they are faithful soldiers on the "war against Christianity".

███To them I say that firstly, I don't worship anything at all besides myself. I am no band's "fan", I am no follower. I don't belong to your subculture, or any other one. I don't care what other people think about my levels of trueness or whatnot. I have no loyalty towards artists or almost anything else. And those who think they're "satanic", have they forgotten that selfishness is a grand pillar of Satanism?

███I am not a satanist myself, and I certainly deem such "religion" to be as ridiculous as Christianity, Islam, or Judaism. I have no religious beliefs. There is no Odin, there is no Baal, there is no Lucifer, there is no God, or Krishna, or Quetzalcóatl for me, however, I respect people's beliefs as long as I'm myself not disrespected, and utter stupidity is not passed on as the ultimate and absolute truth (although even in such cases I tend to be rather passive).

███All I am is some average-ish loner who happens to listen to almost only extreme Metal, primarily of the Black and Death varieties and their sub-divisions, because it just feels right and it is the music I prefer, not because of any childish, obnoxious fanboyism.

███My mind will not change as my motives to download music are not completely based on "anti-capitalist" statements ("It's the record companies that get the money anyway!", "The band have enough cash already!"), but rather on sheer egoism and a profound lack of empathy.

And now, if you excuse me, I'll go download more un-DRM'd MP3 of early Darkthrone and Beherit, and I'll enjoy the music, and then I'll delete the files and download them again, and again.

tl;dr: I do not support the bands I listen to. I don't care.

So yeah I'm running Ubuntu's 7.10 - Live CD, I like this stuff, detected my wireless network adapter perfectly, and yet some stuff that doesn't even work under Windows (such as my laptop's touchpad's scroll-thing) works fine under Ubuntu, hurray.

All I need is some file-moving now, in a few weeks I shall be running Linux again, hopefully, and then I'll be a complete geek (albeit a fake one, because I don't know how to move around in a console environment, according to someone I ''know'' - oh well), except I'll be listening to Metal instead of game/electronic music.

Oh, the shame. Also, hello world. Firefox owns when you're using Linux.

Now, I'll shut this stuff off and do some more homework (The reason why I've been quite away from last.fm and the Internets in general, lately).
