Collaborating between five band members spanning four countries with a 4-time Grammy winning producer in a Houston recording studio, and having recently received two number-one slots on prominent internet charts and a Gold Award for their promotional single and video, the band World5 will be releasing their debut album titled "Global Experience" later this spring.

"I think the album is a cool blend of different styles." states 4-time Grammy winning producer Randy Miller. "The songs have the common thread of the individual members of the group bringing their own artistic visions to bring about the globally diverse sound of World 5 . It was a great experience to mix and master this album using technology to overcome time and space to bring all of our musical ideas together. "You And I", which is about a positive relationship between a young couple about to be engaged has been well received by a number of folks having reached top 5 slots at such internet stations as the Independent Music Network hosted by Michael Damien, number one on All Access' Songdish and the internet radio show "Radio Gets Wild" gave the single their "Gold Award" among other positive responses from internet outlets on a worldwide level. The video to the single has also garnered much attention as a feel-good story that has gotten over 20,000 views on YouTube, Vimeo and other outlets.

"We already had such a great response from the song but when we released the video the song has gotten so much more attention" states drummer/ percussionist Raimund Breitfeld. "People from all around the world can easily identify themselves with this storyline in the video."

"We were very excited when we heard that "You And I" had hit #1 on a couple of charts and #4 on another," states vocalist Don Bruner as the bands first single from their upcoming album was such a success in a short period. "One of the things that we were hoping for was that our music would not only be appreciated in our home countries but have an appeal to everyone, everywhere."

Mike Clark, legendary drummer and former member of Herbie Hancock’s Headhunters band, can now add another name to his illustrious music career as the Funk Wizard of Manhattan. In addition to producing his new discovery, singer/nu-hip spoken word artist Tony Adamo’s CD, he had to bring in the right mixer/engineer who could funk the tracks for Adamo’s groove vocabulary and triplet soul-jazz voicings. Clark was looking for a mixing fool of an engineer who could dig the new perspective on the nu-hip speak vocals that he and Adamo are puttin’ down. That engineer is Tim Ouimette, a hip to the bone musician /composer who has played or written for Ray Charles, The 4 Tops, The Temptations, Blood Sweat and Tears and Aretha Franklin. The 10th Annual Nashville SongWriters Festival is several music happenings in one! Find your place in the mix. It’s part live original music festival, part music conference, part networking opportunity and part gathering of old friends held June 1-3, 2012. From the moment the band kicks in, the audience is pumped and the party has begun. You can hear the interaction between the band and the audience and it keeps you pumped from start to finish. The thing that sets Cutting Edge apart from the other bands is not only did the original version of "Love Police" hit the top 20 about 12 years ago, but two dances remixes by the band and remixers Giuseppe D. and Ricky Ric also charted. The band released the original version of the song and before it moved off the chart, released the Giuseppe D. remix and then prior it moving off the chart, released the remix by Ricky Ric. "Love Police' was on the charts for almost a full year. Now, 12 years later, the band releases the new live version of "Love Police" that captures the excitement of a Cutting Edge concert.

The live version of "Love Police" and the whole new live album ("Cutting Edge Released....LIVE!) takes you right into the party of a Cutting Edge concert that is non-stop excitement. Just when you think the band has peaked and is reaching the end of the song, "Love Police"; Cutting Edge explodes into the Ricky Ric dance remix and the party continues nonstop. From rock to dance, I don't really know of any other bands that could have pulled this off and Cutting Edge does it with ease. As my friend DJ Booker says, "He does not know of any other indie band in the world who can get on the same stage as Cutting Edge; they are the best and this live album catches it all". You can capture the whole live experience of a Cutting Edge concert and all their hit songs, including "Love Police" right from your own living room.

The Cutting Edge live track of "Love Police" is something everyone should give a listen to, but by far the new album "Cutting Edge Released....LIVE!" is the best live album I have ever heard from any indie band. Very few major artists have pulled of the recording of a live concert like Cutting Edge and it EXPLODES IN YOUR FACE. I do not know of any other 'indie' band that can do a live album that features hit songs that have charted; from last year's "Without You" and "If The Walls Could Talk" which charted on the Billboard Hot Single Sales Charts, to the hit songs "Your Love Is My Oxygen", "Judas of D.C." and of course, "Love Police", it is all there for the Cutting Edge experience. Cutting Edge Released....LIVE" is the ultimate live album that will keep you glued to the headphones for hours on end. Another writer here is doing a review of the opening track "It's Time" and he says, "It's ten thumbs up all the way". Five Stars out of Five on this one!
