Brutally contagious from the opening whirr of synth, ‘Once Were’ is the first puzzle piece from the forthcoming Red Traces album and as Ovadia reveals, “an extension of my most honest self”. Amongst his inspirations from the get-go, the debut single is Ovadia’s sacrificial response to his compulsive playback of Blonde Redhead’s ‘Spring By Summer Fall’ – and boy, it’s a striking start.

Drawing from the frenzied energy of ‘Spring and by Summer Fall’, Ovadia answers with oh-so sinister organ synth and improvisational drum beats that were “recorded in a single take”. Dizzy bass-lines and desolate vocals unite the ambiguous setting of ‘Once Were’ and embark the listener through a path of unrequited moments in star-crossed lyrics “once were / binary stars / once were”.

The fine-tuned ‘Once Were’ sets the pace for Ovadia’s record, exposing his sincere appreciation for each stage of development. Each track is isolated and treated individually, by a collaboration of engineers (Bo Boddie, Brian Lucey), all ensuring devotion to every piece of the record. From the lingering sequences to the layered fade-outs, ‘Once Were’ offers an exciting glimpse into Red Traces’ infectious and mature beginning.

World/mankind has two problems:
BELIEVERS suffer from religious addiction, legalistic hardcore-dogmatism, orthodox self-opinionatedness, clerical blindness through ALL churches, lack of focus on relationship instead of holy-holy-doctrines and many other emotional, mental and spiritual deficits.
NON-BELIEVERS are affected by faith-and God-allergy, by aversion to every kind of supernatural things, by science-dependence and rationalistic bondages, by fear of freedom-loss, atheistic propaganda-brainwash and many other emotional, mental and spiritual deficits.
JESUS CHRIST alone can solve both problems...

Gott ist Herr, auch und gerade über die Menschheitsgeschichte, inklusive ALLER Kulturen, Religionen, spirituellen Bewegungen, politischen Ideologien, humanistischen Philosophien, wirtschaftlichen Entwicklungen usw.usw..
Der Eine Gott hat ALLES in Seiner Hand, über Zeit und Raum hinaus.....
Das glaube ich und weiß es tief im Herzen. Mein Papa hat die Kontrolle !!!
„1000 Jahre sind bei Ihm wie ein Tag und ein Tag wie 1000 Jahre“ sagt die Bibel in beiden Testamenten (Psalm 90,4 und 2.Petr.3,8)

Ca. 600 v.Chr. trat Siddhartha Gautama Buddha aus dem polytheistischen Hinduismus heraus und erinnert uns bis heute daran ganz achtsam und bewußt im Hier und Jetzt zu leben.
Außer seiner Lehre von der Achtsamkeit sind m.E. auch die Lehre von der Vergänglichkeit sowie die These von den Ursachen des Leids durch Gier, Haß und Verblendung für Christen und Wahrheitssucher relevant oder zumindest interessant.

empfohlen (Original-Titel „The Heart of Buddhist Meditation“). Den Autor Nyanaponika durfte ich während meines dreijährigen Aufenthaltes in Sri Lanka kennenlernen und habe ihn als ehrlich und hilfsbereit geschätzt, wenn ich auch mit seinen radikal atheistischen Ansichten nicht übereinstimm(t)e.

Die Zeitenwende verdanken wir Jesus Christus von Nazareth, dem Messias der Juden UND (letztlich auch der) Heiden, dem Erlöser von Schuld und Sünde (=Gottferne). Gott, unser aller Abba-Vater-Papa wurde ein Mensch wie wir in Seinem einzigen Sohn Jesus, damit WIR ALLE Töchter und Söhne Gottes sein können, das was wir vor dem Sündenfall waren.... In Ihm und dem Hl.Geist (Seinem Geist) allein können wir wieder eine Beziehung zu Gott haben, ehrlich und wahrhaftig, echt und realistisch, ohne Frömmelei und gesetzliche Religiosität, ohne ständiges geistliches Abstrampeln, ohne Gebets-Pathos und Angst vor Versagen, einfach so in Liebe und Vertrauen, schlicht, aber nicht naiv, kindlich aber nicht kindisch, unkompliziert und authentisch.

Ca. 600 Jahre nach der ALLES entscheidenden Veränderung trat Mohamed, der Begründer des Islam (=Hingabe) auf, und erinnert uns alle daran, daß es „nur“ EINEN Gott gibt, dem alle Anbetung und Ehre gebührt. Jegliche Anbetung von Engeln und Heiligen mag gut gemeint sein, ist aber frommer Aberglaube und Gott ein Gräuel. Engel sind Diener Gottes (abgefallene Engel = Dämonen sind Diener satans und verstellen sich gerne: 2.Kor.11,4)
Gott sieht das Herz an, nicht das Äußere. Daher ist es seit Christus auch völlig unwichtig geworden, ob jemand beschnitten ist, welche Kleidung sie/er trägt, welche Kulte, Rituale, Zeremonien usw. ausgeführt werden. Gott sieht DEIN Herz, und …. Gott schaut Dich immer an mit LIEBE !!!

JEDER Mensch ist von Gott her gesehen Sein geliebtes Kind, und Gott wünscht sich nichts mehr als daß JEDER einzelne Mensch in diese neue und gleichzeitig ursprüngliche Identität hineinkommt. Das und nur das ist der Ansatz zur Lösung der Menscheitsprobleme. Alles andere mag gut gemeint sein, behandelt aber nur die Symptome.
Laß DEIN HERZ, DEINE SEELE, DEINEN GEIST von Jesus heilen, komm in Seine Arme, die Er am Kreuz auch für DICH GANZ PERSÖNLICH ausgestreckt hat.
Bald ist Ostern, doch Golgatha war vorher.

Ich hoffe, daß der neue Papst Franziskus seine Katholiken und viele andere Menschen wieder zum Ursprung, zur Quelle, zum Licht und der Liebe Gottes zurückführt, Amen.

Wow! World premiere of complete Jerry Goldsmith score for Frank Marshall film from Micheal Chrichton thriller with Laura Linney, Dylan Walsh. Original album produced by Goldsmith only featured about 23 minutes of score plus ten minutes of admittedly dynamic African choral material. But that left out virtually half of magnificent score. Goldsmith's approach to thriller offers some of his most riveting action music of the nineties. Intrada presentation includes everything composer recorded, including two versions of rich "Deep Jungle", in which version recorded specifically for album deleted tense snake sequence. Standing out in new tracks are thrilling action cues: powerful Rambo style "Meet Monroe Kelly" airport escape cue, intense "Help Me" where Tim Curry meets his violent end. Other new cues include two versions of mysterious "The Ghost Tribe", "Meet Amy" sequence with alternating thrills, tenderness. Tremendo!!! Mira completo el homenaje a LED ZEPPELIN

Robert Plant, Jimmy Page y John Paul Jones, los miembros sobrevivientes de Led Zeppelin, se encontraban el 2 diciembre del presente año, en la fiesta que tuvo lugar en el Kennedy Center Honors, para ser condecorados en la Casa Blanca y de manos de Mr. Obama por su aportación a la cultura norteamericana.

Según palabras de Jack Black: "La mejor banda sobre la tierra" quien fuera el presentador. Entre diversos colegas, les dedicaron un cariñoso tributo

La banda fue versionada por una serie de otros músicos, con las presentaciones de Foo Fighters con un Dave Ghrol desmelenándose como un poseído en la batería, Kid Rock, Lenny Kravitz y el mejor y más emotivo momento del concierto, fúe cuando las Hermanas Wilson (Heart), salieron a escena y junto a Jason Bonham a la batería (el tío está sublime, emocionado, inmenso), se marcaron esta versión de "Stairway to Heaven ". En el video se puede ver incluso un primer plano de Robert Plant
a punto de saltarle las lágrimas.

Un show de etiqueta para una banda fundamental, la mejor de todas!

El martes 4 pasaron por el late show de David Letterman (en su primera entrevista televisiva juntos desde el 2003), donde hablaron de sus influencias y de su decisión de terminar la banda tras la muerte de John Bonham, entre otros temas.
