A so fucking HUGE disappointment! What happened to these French masters?

Stagnated Existance is totally uncomparable to their debut: much more technical and... much worse!
- Beneath the Massacre
Their EP was very promising. LP killed all the hope...
- Deathspell Omega
Don't get me wrong, F,IMIIE is a great album but I expected a MASTERPIECE, as Kenose was
- Behold... the Arctopus
A regress. Their first demo is still my favorite.
- The Red Chord
They were so close to perfection! Then a letdown came. In spite of that "Clients" was very enjoyable. "Prey for Eyes" ain't very impressive...
- Defeated Sanity
Psalms Of The Moribund cannot be classified as a music. This is pure fucking brutality condensed and put into CD! Very interesting thing, however not as good as Prelude To Tragedy
- Mithras
As above. Very good album but no comparison to their second one.

I must say I liked a lot their to first albums. Now they are boring as fuck

Great guest appeared on The Apostasy! Warrel Dane of Nevermore fame and great Polish jazz piano player Leszek Możdżer. Music remained average... I will never understand the "phenomenon" of Behemoth.

Innovative, technical, loud. My favourite is "Calculating Infinity"
4. Cannibal Corpse
Butchers from Buffalo! They released some fantastic albums like "Butchered at Birth", "Tomb Of Mutilated", "Vile". In 2006 they strikes again with probably the most brutal album in their discography: "Kill"
5. Testament
Thrash at its best! Some unforgettable albums like "The Legacy", "The New Order", "Demonic" and "The Gathering"
6. Defiance
Another Thrash Metal group from USA. If you don't know Defiance check out mp3s (full albums!) on their official site:)
7. Dying Fetus
Very interesting band. Albums like "Killing On Adrenaline", "Destroy The Opposition" and "Stop at Nothing" reminds me why metal rules:)
8. Lux Occulta
One of the best polish group. I like LO from both periods: "blackish" climatic and technical/unorthodox. It's quite possible that masters from Dukla will release a new material in near future!
9. Suffocation
Brutal and technical! Suffo rules! Unfortunately, I heard only "Pierced From Within", "Effigy of the Forgotten" and "Souls To Deny"...
10. Immortal
Lots of people says that Immortal is not a BM band. But who cares? I don't like only "Battles in the North", other albums are marvellous
11. Pestilence
This band has a fantastic discography. I love every Pestilence's album
12. Cephalic Carnage
They play very weird music. I know them since "Lucid Interval". Is it worthy to get their earlier releases??
13. Terrorizer
"World Downfall" is perfect! I'm waiting for their new material
14. Deathspell Omega
France is know for its great BM scene. Deathspell Omega is a good example:)
15. Finntroll
Combination of Polka and Metal. I like their style, mostly on the "Jaktens Tid"
16. Kobong
A bit forgotten band from Poland. They released two unorthodox albums "Kobong" and "Chmury nie było" and quickly disbanded.
17. Strapping Young Lad
Group, where Devin Townsend and Gene Hoglan met each other:) Great combination of Industrial and Metal, very expressive.
18. Cynic
They released only some demos and LP "Focus", but nowadays they are one of the best known Fusion band from Florida
