Every time I see this picture I fall in love with it all over again. It is a photograph of the band Beach House (http, MySpace) and I think it's just breathtakingly beautiful. The picture captures perfectly what kind of music Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally create. Their songs are wonderful dreamy tunes that are magical and hold a special kind of beauty. A beauty that is quiet, almost shy and laced with melancholy. Their soft music reminds me of underwater lullabies and mermaids, it reminds me of calm autumn days at the seaside and of long lost childhood memories.
