No matter how great things in the past were, you have to move on. You can't live in the past forever!

I'm so sick and tired of the goddamn Nostalgia Filter. Everytime i read the comments in any video/music portraying something old, i see old coots complaining about things like "blah, blah, blah, newer generations won't know this/that song by e.g.: Orbital", "this is better than newer shit", etc. This really pisses me off. It's a fucking generalization. And a really bad one, i must add. Stop believing in this bullshit!

There are good things to find nowadays, and there will always be in the future. No matter how great things in the past were, you have to move on. I know, sometimes it may look hard to do so, but you can't and shouldn't live in the past forever! I have never used ICQ, and seriously, i don't care. Windows Live Messenger isn't worse and not better than the former, and vice-versa.

Also, stop expecting the so-called newer generations to know that song you used to listen a long time ago. No one has to like that song by Leftfield, just because you do. If that kid who loves to listen to Miley Cyrus also happens to like [insert long-gone artist name here], it's just his business.

Anyway, stop living in the past and embrace the future! You're missing a lot of good stuff, even if they might not be immediately noticeable as it may have been a long time ago.]]>
