First off it was Alesana, they were surprisingly good. They really did surprise me quite a bit, I didn't think they would have been any good live, but I was wrong. After walking around the tents for awhile we went to see Set Your Goals. The crowd was insane & I had no problems venturing into it despite someone crowd surfing into my head. Afterwards, Mayday Parade was playing which I was very excited about. I recently just got into them & I'm really loving their music. So I saw about three songs of their set [Jamie All Over, Walk On Water Or Drown & Jersey] which were actually my favorite songs but we had to leave for the Say Anything signing which was at 3:15. By the time I got to the signing the line was cutoff, so my hopes of meeting the amazing Max Bemis were shattered completely. But we decided to go to the Forever The Sickest Kids signing & they were pretty rad guys. They gave me highfives & complemented by newly acquired Say Anything shirt which they pointed out, had a cussword. The shirt reads "This Is F***ing Ecstasy. Say Anything." I got a lot of compliments on it & I really like it. Right after Forever The Sickest Kids' signing, I got straight in line again for Mayday Parade's signing which made me feel better about missing half their set. They were really nice guys & I got my Mayday Parade shirt signed. After that signing I rushed over to Say Anything who were just about to go on. We were nowhere near the front, but with my extremely short & thin body I was able to make it up pretty far. I pretty much lost Alison due to not caring about her & only caring about catching a glimpse of this amazing band perform. Everyone was really smacked into each other, which wasn't really that great with the heat, but there was a breeze which made it completely better. I survived being in a really huge crowd on my own which I was proud of. Apparently when I pushed out at the end I looked like I just went through the greatest moment of my life & hell at the same time. They played Every Man Has a Molly, Skinny, Mean Man, Woe, Belt, Shiska (Girlfriend), Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too & Alive With the Glory of Love. It was really a great time. After that we rushed to see Forever The Sickest Kids who were already starting by the time we got there. They were alright, but I just wasn't blown away after Say Anything. After them we went to see Four Year Strong but we got there a little early so we had to endure Katy Perry. Sure, I like I Kissed a Girl, but I'm not much of a Katy Perry fan. When everyone was chanting for Four Year Strong she told Four Year Strong that her fans were better, which led to the entire crowd of Four Year Strong fans calling her an asshole & booing her off the stage. Then she makes a remark about how it's just friendly competition & she was kidding. Uh, yeah right. So after that mess was off the stage Four Year Strong started & they were awesome. Kenny from The Starting Line came out & did a song with them which was even better. After that we still had an hour until All Time Low, so while waiting for them we watched Family Force 5. I had never heard their music before & they were actually pretty fun to watch & hear. So I really didn't mind sitting through them. Then All Time Low came on, we were also surrounded by 15 year old girls, one of them stating "You don't mosh to Say Anything, who moshes to Say Anything?" I just raised my eyebrows & tried to focus on the band. Alex was just non-stop cursing. Sure, moderate cursing is alright, since most of the time it's a bad habit, but Alex was just cursing just to basically curse. I found it kind of unprofessional & it took away from the set. But they weren't bad live. I'm honestly not a huge All Time Low fan. Sure, I like their music for the most part but their music just doesn't do anything for me. I don't understand all the hype surrounding them besides the fact that they supposedly look cute, supposedly. We left during Maria, Count Me In realizing that we would have a hard time getting to the ferry if we left any later. I wished I would have seen Cobra Starship instead, I really enjoy them & I think they would have been much better than All Time Low. But oh well, there's always next year.]]>
