Le Voyage de Simone
well unfortunately this one isn't streamable, but let me tell you, it is a good track!

While I am at it I can just as well write about one of my latest CDs: Lost In Manele
This one is also not available on last.fm. Oh well.
I was at the local street musicians' festival in town a few weeks ago and I heard them. Their sound is awesome. I saw that they also have a gig in Switzerland soon. Maybe they are not that local after all. Great music anyways. I would maybe describe them as "almost sounds like electronic, but is all acoustic".

So yesterday I discovered that not only one of my favorite songs by Moby, Extreme Ways, is on last.fm in full length, but also lots of other songs by him! You can just check out Moby's charts and you'll find that some 50% of his most played songs are in full length. Hm.. I wish more people put their songs there. I also discovered this song If Things Were Perfect. I don't seem to own it in my music collection but it is quite good. :)

Hello everybody,

Since this is my first entry I would like to say a couple of general things.

This is some sort of experiment, I don't know how often I am even going to write anything in here at all. Mostly I hope to post about interesting music that I found and especially about music events that I went to or which I am just planning to go to.

With painful, hard work I figured out how to "scrobble" the tracks that I play from my iPod. The real sucky thing is that it's a shuffle and those don't have clocks built in as I read in forums. To make a long story short, I have to use iTunes to scrobble the iPod's music even though I use Winamp for listening to my music otherwise. So now most of my scrobbled tracks will show up with completely wrong times... (Don't think I usually listen to music at 5am.)

OK, that's all for now.
And don't hesitate to recommend new music to me. I'm always looking for new things.
You can drop me some lines here too!
