Nowy wokalista Witchking!

Niedawno odchudzony Witchking ponownie ma pełny skład! Wolne miejsce wokalisty zajął, znany dotąd z prog metalowego zespołu Reload, Michał Żaczek. Oto komentarz gitarzysty zespołu, Tomka Patera: "Z Michałem od pierwszego spotkania złapaliśmy dobry kontakt. Nie mieliśmy wątpliwości, że śpiewając w Witchking będzie właściwą osobą na właściwym miejscu. Zaraża nas swoim zaangażowaniem i pomysłami na aranżacje nowego materiału. Bez wątpienia potrzebowaliśmy takiej świeżej krwi w zespole. Mimo, że to dopiero początek naszej współpracy, wszyscy jesteśmy optymistycznie nastawieni". Zespół rozpoczął już pracę nad kolejnym pełnym materiałem.

New vocalist!

Recently reduced Witchking lineup once again shines in full glory. The vacant spot as a lead singer has been taken by Michał Żaczek, known from progressive metal band Reload. Here's what Tomek Pater had to say about him: "We had a very good contact with Michał, from the very first meeting. There's no doubt that he is the right person in the right place. He passes his enthusiasm on to us with his ideas for arranging new material. We definately needed this kind of fresh blood in our veins, and despite the fact that this is only the beginning, we are all very optimistic about the future". The band has already started working on a new, third, studio album.

Witchking bez wokalisty!

W dniu dzisiejszym Tomek Twardowski postanowił opuścić szeregi Witchking. Powodem są sprawy, które uniemożliwiają mu dalsze pełne angażowanie się w zespół. Oto oficjalne stanowisko w tej sprawie gitarzysty zespołu, Mateusza Gajdzika:
"Decyzja została podjęta wspólnie z Tomkiem, nie żywimy do siebie urazy, jesteśmy dalej dobrymi kumplami i myślę, że nie raz będzie okazja wspólnie się napić. Nagraliśmy razem dwie płyty, sporo się razem nauczyliśmy. Mam nadzieję, że Tomek szybko dołączy do jakiegoś zespołu."
Ogłaszamy zatem nabór na nowego wokalistę Witchking! Zgłoszenia prosimy wysyłać na adres mailowy witchking@witchking.pl
Koncert w Krakowie w najbliższy wtorek razem z Týr, Alestorm i Heidevolk odbędzie się w starym składzie i będzie to ostatni występ Tomka w szeregach Witchking.

Witchking without vocalist!

Today Tomek "Storm" Twardowski has left Witchking. His personal affairs do not allow him to further engage into Witchking. This is the official statement from Witchkings guitarist, Mateusz Gajdzik:
"The decision has been made together with Tom. There are no hard feelings between us, we're still friends and I hope we will drink something together in the future. We have recorded 2 albums together, we have all learned a lot during that time, and I hope that Tomek will join some band very soon."
So, we announce that Witchking is looking for a new vocalist! Please, apply here: witchking@witchking.pl.
The concert in Kraków with Týr, Alestorm and Heidevolk will be played in the original lineup and it will be the last gig with Tom on vocals.

Metal Grail music video available now!

The new Witchking video for Metal Grail song is available on YouTube. It was directed by Marcin Halerz from Psychorape Art. You can watch it here:

At the same time we'd like to inform that Witchking will support swedish metallers from Sabaton on one of their concerts in Poland. The concert will take place on 5th april in Wroclaws WZ club. The host of the show is MA-IN agency.

Metal Grail music video

On 11th day of November Witchking recorded a video clip for the "Metal Grail" song from their latest album "Hand of Justice". The video was directed and shot by Psychrape Art crew with their Marcin Halerz as a dircetor. The clip was shot in "Rotunda" club and should be ready in the middle of December

Witchking on Raise Your Fest 6

Witchking has confirmed their appearance on sixth edition of Raise Your Fest (8th november, Loch Ness, Cracow) among bands like Corruption, Stos, Mayhayron, Grimlord and PurpleHaze.
We also remind you of the upcoming gig in Warsaw's "Progresja" club on Insanity Fest (25th October).
Very soon new Witchking t-shirts will be made avialable for purchase during Witchking gigs (25 PLN) and in internet shop www.omnio.pl.
Additionaly, t-shirts as well as both albums will be avialable for purchase during Sabaton's gig on 24th of october in Cracow's "Studio" club.
We strongly reccomend the newest "Teraz Rock" issue, which contains Witchking interview and review of "Hand of Justice" (4/5).

Hand of Justice - Witchking's second album!

One week have left to world premiere of Witchking's second album called Hand of Justice. It is scheduled for 8th September.

After the excellent debut album the band strikes back with yet even better release.

One can hear everything heavy metal has best to offer - filled with
aggression magnificent drums' gallopades, hard-edged (in some places thrash-metal) riffs with a bit of an epic feel.

You won't find simple songs here but extended pieces consisting of various themes, with a brilliant vocals.
Highly recommended!!!

Witchking is going to perform on Hardrocker Festival with bands like Sacred Steel, Omen, Overdrive, Horrorscope, Crystal Viper, Kruk and Majster Kat!
