I found this in my_eyes_burn's blog and it's quite...well...interesting. xD And I have nothing better to do.
So let's see if I'm a typical chick metalhead. xD

Long hair past shoulders? Yes. Black and purple. <3 (I guess "purple" is not exactly the color a trve norwegian evulz blakk mettlar would dye his hair, so I guess I'm failing here despite the lenght. xD)

Have tattoos? Yeah, two. (And two self made ones, but they don't count since they faded and you can't really see them anymore.) But there are going to be moar...

Are you white? Yes. I guess you could even call me pale, sometimes. But I like it that way.

Any band logo tattoos? Not a band logo, but a quote from my favorite Children of Bodom song.

Lesbian, bi, only dates guys with long hair? I'm straight and my boyfriend has short hair. I forced him to let it grow long, but that did look really stupid, so I let him cut it again.^^

Wear black boots? Yes. I got new ones for Christmas. :D

Wear fitted/boot cut distressed jeans? Umm...yeah.

Wear spikes? My friend bought me a spiked wristband some time ago, so yeah, I'm wearing that sometimes. I think it looks pretty. And I always wanted a spiked collar, I plan on getting that soon. :)

Wear a black leather/denim biker jacket? Nah, I only have a normal black jacket and a black coat. But it's not leather or denim.

Satanist, occultist or atheist? No, Catholic. \m/ That's really metal, I know.

I.Q. under 95? Christ, no. I'm not that stupid.

Growing collection of black band shirts? Well...yeah. I love bandshirts. Especially black.

Public drunkard? No. And I don't think being a public drunkard is metal, it's stupid.

Does harder drugs? I have to take enough "legal drugs" (prescription medicine) that fuck my body up, so no, thanks.

Hates most people? Yeah. Seriously now.

Hates the government? There shouldn't be any government.

Angry, violent, and evil? I have been called all three of that.

Have a mental/emotional disorder? One?

Goes to at least 1 metal show every month? I wish...

Cuts? I have that under control for now, but I wonder what that does have to do with metal. -.-

Plays/plans on playing electric guitar, bass, or drums? I have a drum set and a guitar.

Cannibal tendencies? Not yet.

Racist? NO! And I hate people who are. And I don't think that's metal at all, just mentally retarded.

Any hobbies outside of metal and/or alcohol, sex, and violence? Filming myself while having sex? But nah, I also like to draw pictures of cute little bunnies and blood. I like reading. And movies. And snowboarding. <3 Oh, I also like doing crosswords. And playing instruments. And driving people around me insane. And a lot more. You see, I don't have a personality that is that limited.

So, the results are that whoever made this test thinks female listeners of metal are racist, stupid, mentally ill, eat other people,and only fuck, drink, and do drugs all day long. That opinion is indeed very intelligent and totally not full of prejudices. -.- Gawd, what an idiot.
I think this test nicely illustrates how stupid prejudices and stereotyping are. xD
Cutting, being a drug addict, mental illness, racism and cannibalism have nothing to do with metal. -.-
(Oh and I wouldn't say I'm a typial chick metalhead. I don't even listen to that much metal. xD)

16.張懸-My Life Will...
Genre: Indie Pop
Year: 2006

Deserts Xuan is a very talented artist from Taiwan. Listening to her music feels like dreaming in the summer sun, it's wonderful to listen to.

15.陳綺貞-Immortal
Genre: Folk
Year: 2009

And another great taiwanese musician: Cheer Chen. Immortal really is a beautiful record. I wish I could understand the language though. xD

14.Dinner auf Uranos-50 Sommer - 50 Winter
Genre: Progressive Rock
Year: 2010

Dinner Auf Uranos was formed from the ashes of Nocte Obducta, a German Black Metal band. 50 Sommer - 50 Winter is a great and very creative effort that is certainly worth listening to.

13.Monarch!-Dead Men Tell No Tales - Speak Of The Sea
Genre: Drone
Year: 2007

To quote a user on their last.fm page: "The unholiest band my ears have had the pleasure of hearing thus far." Haha, yeah. Cool record.

12.Clair Cassis-Clair Cassis
Genre: Black Metal
Year: 2010

An outstanding black metal band that was sadly rather shortlived. They only released this full length and an EP, which are both pieces of excellent and haunting music.

11.Lantlôs-.neon
Genre: Black Metal
Year: 2010

Beautiful and atmospheric, I love Lantlôs! All the stuff they have put out so far (Demo: "Îsern Himel", Self-Titled Full-Length) is awesome, but I like ".neon" best!

10.Deftones-Diamond Eyes
Genre: Alternative
Year: 2010

The Deftones are one of my favorite bands and I finally came around to really listening to "Diamond Eyes". It's absolutely fantastic. And I love the owl on the cover! <3

09.Thränenkind-Eine Momentaufnahme - Der Rest ist nur Einsamkeit
Genre: Depressive Black Metal
Year: 2010

This is Thränenkind's first EP and I have to say that I like it quite a lot. Their split with Heretoir is also absolutely worth listening! Great music.

08.KANASHIMI-Romantik Suicide
Genre: Depressive Black Metal
Year: 2009

Romantic Black Metal from Japan. I like it, especially the piano.

07.Amesoeurs-Amesoeurs
Genre: Black Metal
Year: 2009

After hearing so much good stuff about this band, I finally decided to listen to this and form my own opinion. I think the album's awesome. Must listen to their EP aswell. Oh, and why do all these amazing bands have to break up? <'3

06.Star of Ash-Iter.Viator
Genre: Avant-Gade
Year: 2002

Ihriel's (from Peccatum) avant-garde/ambient/electronic project, which produces quite beautiful music.

05.Nico-The Marble Index
Genre: Singer-Songwriter
Year: 1969

Why haven't I listened to her any earlier? She's a legend! Frozen Warnings is my favorite from this record.

04.Kerli-Love Is Dead

I can't help but love her music! xD

03.Les Discrets-Septembre et ses dernières Pensées
Genre: Shoegaze/Post-Rock

Amazing. And the album cover is just beautiful!

This is their first release and it's brilliant! We'll hopefully hear more from them in the future. You can also get their songs free from last.fm.

01.Maximilian Hecker-Infinite Love Songs
Genre: Singer-Songwriter/Indie
Year: 2001

He describes his music as "melancholic Pop-Hymns", which fits very well, I think. Lovely record.

Very interesting and atmospheric, I liked it a lot. Must listen to their other musick.

11.Diablo Swing Orchestra-Sing Along Songs For The Damned And Delirious
Genre: Symphonic Metal
Year: 2009

I loved their first album The Butcher's Ballroom and I can say that this one is equally amazing.

10.Edge of Dawn-Anything That Gets You Through The Night

Year: 2010

Love at first listen. Catchy as fuck. Lucid Dreams is terribly beautiful.

- Euphoria. And I thought it was the most beautiful thing I ever heard. I loved (and still do, of course) that song so much. I remember countless listens every morning in the school bus.^^

- I think that would be Black-Eyed.

- She has a wonderful voice, the lyrics are amazing, and there is so much variety in the music...really calm and quiet songs and then loud, fast and angry ones...I
just love everything about Queen Adreena.

- Randomly downloading new music. Fuck Fashion was the first song I heard, and I didn't like it at first because I thought it sounded too techno-esque but there was still something about the song that grabbed my interest and made me listen again and again and after several listens it finally clicked and my love for Angelspit was born.

- This is the same combination as last year, so I just copied the answer from the old journal because this hasn't really changed. xD

Peter Steele, singer of one of my favorites band of all time Type O Negative, and singer of Carnivore, has died.
I don't even know what to say...As dumb as it may sound, but it feels like losing a close friend.
His music meant so much to me, so many hours that I spent listening to his voice - if there was one band that was composing the soundtrack to my life, it was Type O.
Their music was, for me, the definition of beauty. So many beautiful memories associated with Type O...
Peter Steele was one of the few people that I truly idolized and identified with.
I was such a stupid fangirl, I always wanted to marry him. And now he's gone...
World coming down. This is so unbelievably sad. Why him, at such a young age?
Rest in peace, Peter.
