He was so polite & such a gentlemen. I can't believe that it was 3 hours of my life that I spent with him. It was so much more than a concert, it was a spiritual experience. He also showed that he was completely down to Earth as he seemed awed by his fans' devotion, how he thanked every single person involved in the production as well as giving cute little laughs & awkward dances when it best suited the song - it wasn't at all brooding as many have declared Leonard to be, in fact, dare I say, Mr. Cohen has gotten more lighthearted with age.

Which does mean that I'm listening to less music than last year (I listened to 23,155 songs in 2006-07 according to last year's journal), but this year, my favourite/love got a little wackier. I also got to experience quick access to a variety of record stores, so my music got larger (I bought something like 50 albums last year).

Keep in mind that the ranking is of a personal nature and holds nothing against some big bands that are adored. I don't like a lot of pop music, and I don't like the strange simply for being strange.
