Band: Kamelot
Style: power metal

Hello Everyone!

Today, I will review one of the most impressive album that I listen to. Yeah, I know it's hard to review something that we love so much, but in this case... I can say that is easy. Why? It's due to the quality of the music... Three years ago, I bought my first Kamelot's album and I didn't know a thing about the band at that time, only a song called Nights of Arabia. My first listening was, I don't know how to say it but correct would be something in the style... After a couple of month, I decided to listen to The Black Halo a second time... and I was very very very impressed by the melody and the song, in particulary by Abandoned, Memento Mori and Serenade. All of the others song are impressive too, I like all of the song. Variety and good melody are here and together they give us a very impressive album. For now, I listen to Kamelot each day, I try to in reality ^^''

Another thing that I like about this album, is that is it a Concept album. The album is the second and final part of a story staring Ariel, Helena and Mephisto. I will not tell more here, because I don't want to unveil the story to anyone. However, the song are based on the lyrics, if it's something sad, the melody will be slow and peaceful with feeling... and that works!! If it's more powerfull, the melody will be rapid. Many guest appear on the album such as Simone Simon of Epica, Sargath from Dimmu Borgir and Sacha Paeth from Heaven's Gates Studio, Germany. I like particulary Sargath in the song March of Mephisto. The Growl voice as the beginning of the song are, I think, very appropriated and I like this. Like I said before... Variety are here!

In conclusion, give it a try if you haven't yet. And I give to this album the score of

5/5

Hello everyone!

I think I have suscribed to Lastfm one or two years ago... and the only thing that I did, is to record what I listen to... like everybody. But I changed my mind and I will start something new. I love music and I want to share my passion with all of this communauty and more. So, I will, when I will have the time for, write albums' review and share what I apprciate and what I dislike on those records and I will give marks. However, marks will be just to give something else to the review, because I don't think that a marks will be very representative for the quality of the records.

I hope, I will have your comments and that you will come to my lastfm page to see what I have done!

Good Summer vacation to all of you!
~ N1ghtNg3l
