Ahir era la meva primera vegada amb els Wave Pictures. Havien vingut pel Primavera Sound i el Primavera Club de l'any passat, i pel que vaig poder llegir no van acabar de deixar satisfets al seu públic més fidel, en gran part per l'ausència d'alguns dels seus hits més destacats. Aquest era el meu principal temor abans de que sortissin a dalt l'escenari de La [2] d'Apolo, i més quan venien a presentar el 'If You Leave It Alone', el seu nou disc molt més intimista que el 'Instant Coffee Baby' i, com a conseqüència, molt menys accessible al públic en general.

El concert d'ahir a Razzmatazz és d'aquells que et deixen amb un mal regust de boca. The Sounds van oferir un bon concert però un grup que té dos autèntics dis-ca-zos com 'Living in America' i 'Dying to Say This to You' no pot obviar del seu setlist "Seven Days a Week" o "Song With a Mission" de cap manera. A part, l'acústica de la sala no era per tirar coets però no va ser això el que els va fer sonar diferents ja que per alguns moments semblava que els faltava alguna cosa que fes que sonessin realment potents tal i com són als discs i haurien de ser en directe.
