1. Darkest Hour
Not that it was bad, but Deliver Us just was not as good as I thought it was going to be. Undoing Ruin was way better.

2. Streetlight Manifesto
You assholes need to play around here! And I haven't really been able to get into your latest album yet...and I don't know if I ever will. Everything Goes Numb was amazing though.

3. Motion City Soundtrack
I've listened to your new album, but it was nowhere near as magical as your first one. STOP BEING ON MTV. I'm not saying you sold out...necessarily...but..you ARE on MTV. I miss the days when I was like 14, whenever I would talk about you and people would have no idea who I was talking about. Now you're everyone's favorite band.

4. Madd Hatters
Get back together, assholes. Your guitarist is a dick, And tell your trombone player to leave me alone.

5. Bane
PLAY IN WILMINGTON. Some of your songs are pretty dumb, but others are life-changing.

6. Catch 22
You only put out one good album ever. Permanent Revolution made me want to vomit. BREAK UP ALREADY, like you should have done as soon as Tomas left.

7. The Fad
Stop getting in wrecks, play Wilmington again. And your vocalist smells like a trash can.

8. Operation Ivy
JESSE MICHAELS, do you have something against staying in a band for more than three years? You must, because you create amazing music, and then as soon as it hits its peak of amazingness, you leave the band. What the fuck is wrong with you?

9. Neighborhood Friendly
Don't break up, Wes can suck my cock. Some of your songs are retarded as hell and lyrics can be a bit lacking, but overall you are great.

10. Bad Religion
Some of the stuff you release really sucks. Into the Unknown...what were you on?! The New America was bad. What the hell was up with "I love my computer?" You had another gay album but I can't think of the name. You are so much better live than you could ever hope to be recorded. And why the fuck does Brett never play live with you? Is he too busy jacking off on shitty bands' heads?

11. Throwdown
Your fans are cockbites. You're really not that good of a band, but for some reason I like you.

12. The Weakerthans
Um....STOP LIVING IN CANADA OR I WILL KILL YOU. And play a show in Wilmington. Some of the songs off of Utilities kinda sucked.

13. Laguardia
Your new band sucks.

14. Choking Victim
Sometimes his voice is way too weird.

15. Lamb of God
You apparently suck live.

16. Daly's Gone Wrong
You should just change your name. You are nowhere close to the same band anymore. Never A Hand to Hold was not bad overall, but some parts of it make me say "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?" Joe, when the hell did you become emo?

17. The Adicts
I can't really say anything bad about the Adicts...I would go straight to hell. Except you played in Fayetteville when I was fifteen, and I couldn't go. I hate you for that.

18. American Steel
WHY DID YOU ASSHOLES BREAK UP

19. Fugazi
You didn't break up, get off your old man asses and MAKE SOME MORE FUCKING MUSIC

20. Ramones
Tell your members to stop dying, you're not that old. Jeez.

21. The Killers
WHY ARE YOU ON HERE? I only have one or two songs by them.

22. Outbreak
The weekend you played here, I chose to see the misfits instead of you. The Misfits are more important than you...even though what is now considered "The Misfits" is like the worst band ever. HOW DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL?

23. AFI
Please go to another planet and die. Do you even remember that you used to be a good band? PLEASE LISTEN TO Answer That and Stay Fashionable and think about what you've done. None of your fans even know you existed before 2003.

24. New York Dolls
DAVID JOHANSEN, WHAT THE FUCK WAS UP WITH "BUSTER POINDEXTER?!?!" How many drugs were you onnnn?

25. Misfits
"Jerry only and transient members who are former transient members of other good bands!" Jerry Only is a dick who STILL can't play bass and can't sing either. You have sold out more than any other band that has ever existed, and you haven't sounded good for well over twenty years. WHY ARE YOU STILL TOGETHER? You suck! You're not even the real Misfits. You should have stayed dead when Danzig left.

26. The Banner
What the hell bad things could I say about this band? How about, you don't play Wilmington nearly enough, and most of Joey's lyrics are really, really, really emo/depressing.

27. Television
Um...damn you...for being Television. I don't know man. What bad things can you say to Richard Hell aside from "take a fucking shower"

28. Buzzcocks
You are all really, really old and really, really british.

29. Between the Buried and Me
Sometimes you are really good live, and other times you really fucking suck.

30. Dark Tranquillity
You are so good; however, half of your songs sound exactly the same.

31. Math the Band
Sometimes, you guys are just too weird.

32. The Cure
Your latest releases have been pretty gay. But I can't really say anything bad...it's just not right. But STOP CANCELLING TOURS.

33. The Needles
You never play your hometown any more, you piss me off sometimes. In The Red was a piece of shit compared to Fun Fun Fun, and you need to sell me Meet The Needles for cheap like you did with Fun Fun Fun.

34. The Pist
Sometimes I just wish you would shut up.

35. Crimson Spectre
I never got to see you, you told me you would play Wilmington before you broke up, and you didn't. I will come to Greensboro and firebomb you if you don't get back together.

36. The Black Dahlia Murder
Sometimes you are boring...but not as often as like...Underoath (VOMIT)

37. Set Your Goals
Sometimes you are amazing, sometimes you lay it on a little too thick and it's just kind of silly.

38. The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza
You are a silly band, and I don't know why you're on here really.

39. Johnny Cash
What the hell do I say, come back to life?

40. 7Seconds
You got a little poppy with Take it Back, Take it On, Take it Over! ...but a lot of those things, I can understand where you're coming from.

41. Audioslave
Out of Exile had exactly two good songs. I haven't heard your new album, but I don't really care.

42. Against All Authority
Sometimes your music is annoying.

43. Minus the Bear
Can't think of anything.

44. Against Me!
You signed to a major label, now you're gonna get big and a bunch of dumbasses are going to be your "biggest fans" and I will want to kill myself. NICE JOB MAINSTAGING WARPED TOUR EVERY OTHER YEAR.

45. Morning Glory
You confuse me sometimes...you sound completely different from song to song, so sometimes I'm like "...who the fuck IS this?" when you come up on shuffle on my mp3 player.

46. Black Flag
You had too many lineup changes. Now most of the people in the Misfits were in Black Flag at some point. I think just about every person who has ever so much as looked at an instrument has been in your band.

47. Crimpshrine
Overall you are a good band, but your recording quality was always terrible.

48. Threat Signal
I didn't enjoy you live, but then again, I was mainly at that show for another band, so you were unimportant at the time.

49. Division of Laura Lee
What the hell do you think you were doing getting on a compilation with a bunch of crappy Epitaph bands?

50. The Heart Attacks
Why the hell did you play with A Global Threat, and why the hell haven't you come back up to Wilmington in the past...almost 2 years.

51. The Eddie Haskells
Why the fuck did you break up, and why the fuck did I hear one of your songs on MTV?!

I've listened to Darkest Hour like a ZILLION times in the past week. As of now they're 2 on my overall top artists. Do you understand that last week, they were probably somewhere around 20? "The Sadist Nation" is going to be my most listened song by tomorrow, I guarantee it. I won't even try, I'll just listen to it impulsively, and you'll see it hit #1 tomorrow. And I think they'll probably be my most listened artist by then too. I can't stop listening to them since I saw them on Thursday. I can't, it's addicting! I love everything about them. I love how each album they've put out on Victory has an overall theme. So Sedated, So Secure is about religion and corruption therein, Hidden Hands of a Sadist Nation deals with peoples' attitudes after 9-11 and how everything tried to change for the better, but just wound up being fucked up. And Undoing Ruin was about making your life better and not wasting what you have. That one overall is my favorite, because it's got SO much emotion behind it that it's almost unbearable. The whole thing is like a cycle, it starts out with "With A Thousand Words To Say But One," and it's like "this sucks, I want to make it better and be able to see the beauty in everything." And then it goes through all these emotions and thoughts, rising and falling, until you get to "Paradise" which seems to be where you hit rock bottom and the only way to go is up, and you become determined to actually MAKE life worth living again, instead of just thinking about it. And then there's "Tranquil" which is just like "LET'S DO THIS SHIT!" and it's situated at the end because it's about moving on and living your life after whatever's happened. Closure. Not to mention the instrumental arrangements and production and all that, but I won't start. That album's pretty much flawless.

And of course you know I love the song "The Sadist Nation," and if you didn't know that, then you don't get on here very much. Yeah, so that song is absolutely incredible. Whole album's good. Second favorite DH album after Undoing Ruin of course. The first track, "The Sadist Nation" defines that album, no doubt. It's fucking powerful and intense, and when they slow it down and John does that "ONE NATION...UNDER...THE...GUN!" shout, that fucking gives me chills. I don't know why, it's just powerful as hell. And that line "And only in your mind is it your given right to be armed to the teeth. It's a common disease, the only immunity is to disarm," that's solid as hell, that punches you in the face and demands you pay attention to the song.

And I'll stop rambling now. Just know that I'm obsessed with Darkest Hour and there will never be anything you can do about it. AND I GOT TO TALK TO JOHN HENRY ON THURSDAY! Muhaha. He signed my shirt, which I happen to be wearing right now. :D

[and I know the tracks and albums connections get extremely redundant with the "Darkest Hour - sdoiajdlj" bullshit, but just ignore them if you will. I for some reason NEED to connect everything. I don't know why]

I guess Between the Buried and Me.
