I Got Love has been kicking around our live set for some time and is the baby brother of a little song called Lets Get Hitched (for those of you who can remember back that far).

I chose this tune as our 2nd single not only because it kicks all kinds of ass, but because of its stark contrast to Light Years.

Young Beautiful in a Hurry is a versatile band, playing a versatile pedigree of rock and pop. Between these two singles, you’ll get a pretty good idea of what the record will be like, and we sincerely hope you enjoy it!

We here at the Young Beautiful in a Hurry headquarters are delighted to give you the heads up on the official release date of our debut album, that you have all be so patiently waiting for.

The self-titled debut record, Young Beautiful in a Hurry, will be officially released on:

TUESDAY JUNE 21st 2011

It will be available on all major digital distribution sites, and physical copies of the CD will be available through Bandcamp.com, and of course at the shows.

We’re working on booking a record release party on Saturday June 18th…so you can grab a copy a few days early!

In the meantime, we’ve got t-shirts in the works, lining up gigs for the spring, and meditating on a west coast tour in August. Its going to be a busy first half of 2011.

And, for those of you requiring a YBH fix, please come to our next show at Molly Malone’s on March 12th. We’re playing a world premier tune, and a very surprising cover. Looking forward to seeing you all again!
