Yeah, today I ordered my ticket for the concert of Samsas Traum.
They come to Hamburg on 11.03.2008. I' fucking looking forward to this gig, I really wish it would be tomorrow ^^

Samsas Traum - Heiliges Herz

Alright. It's been awhile isn't it, since I've did my last entry here (and the last one was a german one).

This time I want to write a bit about the new Samsas Traum Record, called Heiliges Herz.
Holy fucking shit what an album. I've never think about the possibility that Alexander Kaschte might go back to his black metal-roots, after releasing such a great record like a.Ura und das Schnecken.Haus or Tineoidea.
But I fucking like this new one. Auf den Spiralnebeln was the first Song I've ever heard from this album and I fell in love with it. But when I got the whole album, I couldn't tell which song might be the best... okay, that was maybe a lie, I really, really adore Heiliges Herz or Das Zeitalter der Baueme...

But enough for this time, maybe you can tell me which is your favorite song on Heiliges Herz

Dies ist der erste Entry in mein Journal auf Deutsch, aber so kann ich das einfach viel besser rüberbringen.

Instrupella... diese Gruppe hat sich spontan auf dem letzten Community Treffen (im Folgenden nur noch als "NATO" bezeichnet) zusammengefunden (NEIN, NICHT gegründet!) und in einer Improvisationssession ihr Album "Kurz Nach Eins" (was auch den Aufnahmezeitpunkt des Albums bezeichnet) aufgenommen haben.

Die Musik setzt sich zusammen aus der Gitarrenarbeit von Kopp und den Acapella-Fähigkeiten der Band :A-Capella (mit Gesang, Drumset, Bass und allem Pipapo).
Ihr Album ist bisher nur per Download zu erhalten, dafür aber einfach nur kranke, geniale Musik, die sich jeder mit einem gesunden Humor anhören sollte ^^

Alright then; I think I found a band you can compare with Samsas Traum.
The band is called Mantus and their music is... fantastic.
At first my friend Solacy (*hug*) gave me the song Tanz der Sinne and this one totally hypnotized me. So I got some of their records (thanks to Solacy *hug hug*), for example Abschied, Ein Hauch von Wirklichkeit and Fremde Welten.
I still have to listen to all of the songs but still I have some favorites and I think, I'll really discovered a good piece of music.

... still I think, Alexander Kaschte is best =D

It's time for something new

Alright, this is the first time I write a new entry in my journal for countless weeks.

Yeah, I'm not sure what I'm going to write in this entry, but I'll just let the words find their way out of my mind and then I'll see ^^

Yeah, first I got a whole new records in my collection, for example Toxic Touch, Völkerball, In My Blood, Lover's Requiem or Pestapokalypse VI.
And I discovered some new artists, for example Lamb of God, I Am Ghost, God Dethroned, Feindflug, Funker Vogt or And One. All of those have cool records and I jsut need some time to discover everything of their music they made ^^

Hell yeah, man!
Now I got the whole discography of Meshuggah and... oh my god, I'm totaly blown away! I mean, they got this sick "LP", called I... it only got this one Track called I and ... hell, I don't have the words for this shit... this one is incredible!!
But I have to say that their music on Contradictions Collapse isn't that complex compared to the stuff they play on Chaosphere or their lates LP Catch 33. But I have to say that Catch 33 is at the moment my favorite Record of them; it's a cool topic and the connections between the songs are extremely cool.

So... what are your favorites from this sick Band?

Yeah, all hail to my friends that are pushing me towards great bands.
This time I like to thank Sceddar for telling me about 65daysofstatic.
Dude... this guys are incredible!
Just listen to this extremly weird mix of Industrial, Rock, Prog and whatever you want. It's a pure instrumental band without a vocalist and in my opinion they don't need one. Their music speaks for itself.
I can hardly recommend you to listen to the whole LP One Time for All Time (the newer one) or to their first record The Fall of Math.
Ok, it's kind of senseless to recommend 2 LPs and the band does only have 2 LPs ^^''
But this might show you how I love this music.

My favorites until now (I'm listening actually to "One Time For All Time" at the moment for the first time intensively):

I hope you'll enjoy this band as much as I do at the moment.

The world is electronic

Yeah, some time has passed but now it's me again ^^
During the last months I explored a lot more cool bands, for example Poets of the Fall, Shinedown, Lostprophets or Taproot (big thanks to Virgile for pushing me toward these great bands!).
These are really cool alternative/nu metal/rock bands; and my favorites are the Poets. Their song Lift is the killer! What do I say? The whole record "Sings of life" is killer! Everyone who likes good alternative music should listen to these guys!

But now I want to come to the maintopic of this entry ^^
During the last months I found out that I really begin to like electronic music like :wumpscut:, Mesh, Project Pitchfork, Shadows in the dark, In Strict Confidence and many, many more.
Latest I listen currently to Black Death; this song is... I don't have the words (in english ^^') to describe how I like this song. You should listen to it by yourselves.

Alright then, at the moment I'm listening to Scherenschnitt from the record Utopia. Let's see, what the day may bring next up.

Hum... I've taken a look at my personal charts and my tags here and I'm a bit surprised I have to say oô
On the one hand the band I've listend the most to is HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR from whom I only got the Song Ichirin no Hana which is at the moment the actual Openingsong for "Bleach".
And then I got Iced Earth at the 2nd position.
On the other hand I have the tags nu metal and death metal on top of my tag-list. Strange, because I don't have a lot LPs from "real" Death Metal bands (ok, Kataklysm, Hypocrisy or Arch Enemy are "real" Death Metal Bands, the others play some kind of Death Metal Mix (for example Soilwork, In Flames or Dark Tranquility are playing Melodic Death Metal). And I really don't listen tha~t much to Nu Metal Bands like Korn, Adema or Mudvayne.
That might be the result of my - I will call it - musical past; I'd startet listening to "harder" music by listening to Limp Bizkit and then switching to Bands like Slipknot or Iced Earth and then taking a look in each kind of Metal music.
And since last year I do even listen to electronic sounds (for example Diary of Dreams, In Strict Confidence
or :wumpscut:) or even gothic-like music (Samsas Traum, Blutengel or gothic-metal like Moonspell).

Yeah... and now I'm currently listen to japanese Bands like Dir en grey or my new favorite band D'espairsRay.
