A ska punk and pop punk band that's been around for more than a decade producing catchy tunes. Their latest album Disconnection Notice was quite poor when compared to Hang-Ups, Open Your Eyes and Goldfinger but still not bad really. I just hope their next album can be better.

2. Powerman 5000
They hit the mainstream with the awesome songs When Worlds Collide, Bombshell and Supernova Goes Pop. Once again, their latest album was sub-standard and didn't impress me that much.

3. Elliot Minor
This band just rules. Their song Parallel Worlds is just an awesome song and I'm sure they can make many more good songs. The potential is there.

4. Capdown
I actually think this band could be a real success. A lot of their songs are easy to listen to and they're a lot more unique than some people say they are.

5. Graveltrap
They're on an indefinite hiatus at the moment but they will be back. Their song S.R.J topped the Scuzz video charts, beating Less Than Jake and Metallica. My favourite song of their's has to be Primal Fear though.

Other promising bands:
6. Madina Lake- Catchy mix of post-hardcore and pop-punk.
7. Ozma- The next Weezer
8. The Aquabats- A very underrated punk band. So many great songs.
9. Chino McSweater Vest- A great rock band that blends punk and indie to create their own sound. Geeky costumes are also necessary.
10.Hang 'Em High- Remember The F-Ups? Well check this band out. They're a bit heavier than before.
