Now answer the questions according to the numbers:

1. What was the first song you ever heard by 6?
I have two at #6, I'll pick Aaron for this. It must've been Oh Aaron.

2. What is your favorite album by 2?
Robbie Williams: I'd say... probably Life Thru a Lens because that was the album that made me realize I really liked his songs.

3. What is your favorite lyric that 1 has sung?
Backstreet Boys: [laughs] I don't know! Oh my goodness. I haven't really thought about it before, because I'm terrible at remembering lyrics. No one is glamorously lonely I guess.

4. How many times have you seen 11 live?
I have two for #11, I'll pick The Who: I've never seen them live.

5. What is your favorite song by 7?
I guess now I have to pick the other #6 artist, which is Händel. I don't have a favorite, and I'm frankly pretty puzzled how Händel's even so high up on the list!

6. What is a good memory you have involving 20?
I have two for #20 too! Picking JC Chasez, it'd probably be seeing him a couple of times at Challenge for the Children. :)

7. Is there a song by 3 that makes you sad?
*NSYNC: Yeah, but not necessarily because the song is that sad. It's mostly because of what the song means to me personally.

8. What is your favorite song by 19?
Hanson: Lost Without Each Other. Also, Dying to be Alive.

9. How did you get into 22?
I have two for #22... so let's pick J.S. Bach: my mother likes all kinds of music, including classical. Bach is one of her favorites, and growing up I'd hear it all the time.

10. What was the first song you heard by 21?
This would be the other #20, Johnny Cash: Walk The Line.

11. What is your favorite song by 4?
Tony Lucca: Twenty Something (Same Old).

12. How many times have you seen 10 live?
The other one I have for #11 is Vivaldi: Well. Vivaldi was a bit before my time, don't you think? [laughs] And of course he's a composer, not a performer. I've heard his pieces performed several times in my life, though.

13. What is a good memory you have involving 13?
John Mayer: Your Body Is a Wonderland makes me think of old friends.

14. Is there a song by 23 that makes you sad?
Since I had two for #22, this is the other one, Kane: Not really.

15. What is your favorite album by 15?
Kansas: I've only heard one, which is their The Best of Kansas album. So that one. :)

16. What is your favorite lyric that 9 have sung?
Justin Timberlake: Try to change what you can
And accept all the things that you cannot

17. What is your favorite song by 8?
Britney Spears: Stronger, I think.

18. What is your favorite song by 16?
I have three for #16, so I'll just pick the first one listed, which is Howard Shore. I think that would be Concerning Hobbits.

19. How many times have you seen 5 live?
Michael Bublé: Never.

20. What is your favorite album by 12?
AC/DC: Back in Black. (I know, how surprising, right?)

21. What is a good memory you have involving 25?
Joe Firstman: I don't really have any specific good memories, other than that I got The War of Women from a friend during my first visit to the States, which is a great memory in itself.

22. What was the first song you heard by 18?
This falls into the category "one of the #16 ones" so I'll just go down the list in order again. The Doors: Hello, I Love You.

23. What is your favorite album by 24?
Savage Garden: Savage Garden.

24. What was the first song you heard by 14?
Frank Sinatra: Y'know, I don't really remember. Sinatra's one of those singers who you hear pretty much everywhere randomly during your entire life, so. :P

25. What is your favorite lyric that 17 have sung?
That leaves the last in the group of three for #16, Christina Aguilera: Though I'm sure it's a cliché by now, We are beautiful in every single way

QUESTIONS:
01. Which song do you prefer, #1 or #40?
#1. :)

02. Have you ever listened to #12 continuously on repeat?
Ahahahaha. I have to say, no, I really haven't.

03. What album is #26 from?
My Love Is Your Love.

04. What do you think about the artist who did #15?
Well, there are three artists there, so... I think they're all talented musicians, and I really like this collaborations of theirs.

05. Is #19 one of your favorite songs?
Well, not really. I mean, it's okay, but not one of my favorites.

06. Who does #38 remind you of?
Oddly enough, Nick Stokes. Ahahaha. Though it goes through Kill Bill through Quentin Tarantino through the CSI episode Grave Danger to Nick. Though I suppose I should say Quentin Tarantino, too. It doesn't remind me of anyone I know personally.

07. Does #20 have better lyrics or music?
I like the music better. I never actually paid much attention to the lyrics before.

08. Do any of your friends like #3?
Um, I think so? I have some friends who are bigger fans of HIM than I am - I only have that one song, because it's a Backstreet Boys cover. [g]

09. Is #33 from a movie soundtrack?
Nope, but they did play Like I Love You in the movie Love Actually. But this is a remix, so no. ;)

10. Is #18 overplayed on the radio?
Ahahahahahaha! I've never heard this song on the radio. So no. [g]

11. What does #21 remind you of?
Spending time with my sister.

12. Which song do you prefer, #5 or #22?
#22. It's a pretty song. :)

13. What album is #17 from?
Black & Blue, which happens to be the very first Backstreet album that I bought. :))) (I found it at a thrift store for three euros. :D)

14. When did you first hear #39?
When I saw Bridget Jones' Diary the first time - 2001, I guess?

15. When did you first hear #7?
I'm not really sure. Sometime during the spring of 2005, because I remember hearing it many times on the radio when I was learning to drive.

16. What genre is #8?
Um. Country, or pop-country. I'm not really sure what this song counts as. It's not twangy country, at least.

17. Do any of your friends like #14?
Sure! I have a bunch of friends who love the Boys. :)

18. What color does #4 remind you of?
Blue.

19. Have you ever blasted #11 on your stereo?
I'm so glad I got a song for this number that I can say a resounding YES to. [g]

20. What genre is #37?
These are always so hard! Pop or pop-rock.

21. Can you play #13 on any instrument?
Nooooope. I can't even sing it: it's in French!

22. What is your favorite lyric from #30?
Honey don't think
About it too long now
Honey don't think
You're liable to figure me out

23. What is your favorite lyric from #23?
Because I love you so I take much more than I should take
I want you even though I know my heart is gonna break

24. Would you recommend #24 to your friends?
Sure, why not? I like Savage Garden. It's a shame they're no more.

25. Is #2 a good song to dance to?
Not really, it's a bit too slow for that.

26. Do you ever hear #16 on the radio?
I don't really listen to radio much, but I don't think this songs gets airplay either way.

27. Is #32 more of a "nighttime" or "daytime" song?
Daytime, I think. :) It's got that energetic beat to it.

28. Does #36 have any special meaning to you?
Not really, no. It's an okay song (the original is better), but nothing specific comes to mind.

29. Do any of your friends like #31?
I'm not sure if they've heard it, actually.

30. Is #25 a fast or slow song?
It's more slow than fast, but it's not slooooooooow.

31. Is #35 a happy or sad song?
I'm not really sure! The melody is a little melancholy, but the lyrics aren't. Let's go with happy.

32. What is one of your favorite lyrics from #9?
Well. The lyrics aren't really all that meaningful, but I suppose I'll pick something...
It’s written in the wind
That we’re two
Carved out in the sand
That we’re real

33. Is #34 better to listen to alone or with friends?
With friends who love the Boys too!

34. When did you first hear #27?
July 2004 in Birmingham, Alabama, at my friend Amanda's house. She got me listening to them in the first place. :))

35. Name 3 other songs by the artist who did #29:
Rock Your Body, Like I Love You and Señorita.

36. Do you know all the words to #6?
Not by a mile. [laughs] I haven't actually listened to this album a lot though I've had it for years.

37. Does #28 have better lyrics or music?
Music. [g]

38. What album is #10 from?
Xena: Warrior Princess soundtrack. [laughs]

Top 5 Artists of the Week

#1 Backstreet Boys (42 times)
Woohoo, Boys! (That sounds so wrong...) Aaaaanyway. I was doing iTunes organization this week, and I may have lingered when I got to the Boys, just because I don't have the heart to skip the songs. It's good music, and cheers me up! Well, it does, if I don't dwell on the whole Kevin issue too much...

#2 Tony Lucca (25 times)
Tony on second place, and rightly so! His songs are awesome, and though I'm usually a melody kind of a person, I find myself listening to his lyrics often, too.

#3 Christina Aguilera (18 times)
I rediscovered the Stripped CD and listened to it a whole lot. That's some awesome, moving music right there.

#4 *NSYNC (15 times)
I still say: hiatus schmiatus! The music is fun and energetic and leaves me smiling. Oh, boys. :)

#5 Britney Spears (13 times)
I defy the naysayers and say that Britney has fun music that has me chairboogying and singing the songs even later on.

Top 5 Songs of the Week

Exactly five songs had the exact same amount of times played this week, so the following five are all #1 this week.

#1 I Love How You Love Me (3 times)
This is just a nice, wonderful, soothing chillout song.

#1 I'll Never Break Your Heart (3 times)
Ironically, the song starts with Kevin talking, all low and smooth. Never break my heart, yeah right. (I'm not really this upset. Promise. ;)) This is the perfect song to sing along to and, whenever possible, overemote. [g]

#1 Looking for a Better Way (3 times)
At summertime, Bad To The Bone gets dug out. I'm surprised it's this song instead of Sweat, but I'm not surprised to see one of Inner Circle's songs here. ;)

#1 Billoddity (3 times)
Another fun chillout song. It's one of those songs that makes you wish you were on a beach somewhere in the sun.

#1 Like I Love You (Extended Club Mix) (3 times)
This is actually a surprise, because I don't listen to remixes that often. Oh well. Still an excellent song for chairboogying, and it's not like I mind listening to "Mr. JT". ;))

If you're like me and have 57897897248572 songs in your iTunes library that don't have an album cover and/or an album name in the song info, I'd just like to recommend a Widget called iTunes companion. It searches, and what's more important, actually finds most album titles and covers based on the artist's name and the song title and inserts them into iTunes. And it's free! You can find the widget here!

Anyway, I hope that's of help to other people, too. :) Back to listing! I'm just at the Bs. [g]

ETA: One thing I forgot to mention, because of course there's a catch... If you're adding a picture to your iTunes song, last.fm won't register it for some reason. :/

Top 5 Artists of the Week

#1 Backstreet Boys (19 times)
Well, I don't think it's hardly a surprise that I've been listening to the Boys a lot this week, especially after the news we got during the weekend. Frankly I don't think the whole business with Kevin has still sunk in. We'll see how I do when the promotion starts for the new album and there are only four of the Boys in the pictures...

#2 Tony Lucca (11 times)
I've been doing a lot of shuffling, so the artists that show up on this weeks list are those by whom I have the most music. Tony's just amazing, and everyone who hasn't listened to his music by now should start. :P

#3 *NSYNC (8 times)
*NSYNC! Yay. These boys got me really into the whole pop world in the first place, and they're just a bunch of such awesome guys who work hard and make excellent music that just manages to make me feel happy always. :) Hiatus schmiatus!

#4 Sarah McLachlan (7 times)
This surprises me - I'm guessing shuffle at work again because I haven't, IMO, been listening to Sarah McLachlan that much.

#4 John Mayer (7 times)
John Mayer, hurrah! I love his music. It's perfect chill-out music, and he seems like a fun guy, too.

Top 5 Songs of the Week

#1 Ruby Blue (3 times)
This is from the Grey's Anatomy soundtrack, which I've been listening to somewhat last week. I'm actually surprised the theme song isn't in this position.

#1 Carry on Wayward Son (3 times)
This song, it's like crack. Ever since it was featured on a Supernatural episode, I've been all but obsessed with it. LOVE. You should all listen to it (I think you can through last.fm) and rock out. :D (ETA: I wanted to know what the song sounds like through the site, so I tested it. I have to say that the album version that I have sounds better, IMO, but it might be just because I'm used to hearing that version.)

#1 Love Shack (3 times)
Again, crack. But the good kind! This is one of those songs that are just fantastic to sing along to in the car when there's no one else there with you.

#4 Everybody Out of the Water (New Frontier) (2 times)
This is on the CSI soundtrack and it's just really, really great. Roll-down-your-windows-and-blast-music-in-the-car kind of music. :)

#4 The Lion Sleeps Tonight (2 times)
*NSYNC! Yay! I'm surprised it's this song by them and not another one, but then again I've been listening to music on shuffle a lot lately.
