I swear, people are either bitching about how much a band sucks or how many plays they have.

1) I have bands that I can't stand, but I don't go out of my way to spam their fm page. As far as I'm concerned, that's where the "sucky" bands' fans go to have fun. And no, it's not expressing your opinion - it's trolling. If you hate something that much, label it as crap and move on. Don't antagonize the fans.

2) If a song or band has a lot of plays, it means that people are enjoying it. A song isn't crap because it's played on the radio and people pay more attention to it now. I know it's annoying when a song is played several times on the radio, but if it's pissing you off that much, TURN THE RADIO OFF and listen to your iPod or cd-player. Common sense...wow. And I'm sorry, but if you feel that your indie-attutide is threatened by overplayed songs, you need to see a therapist as soon as possible.

Ahhh, rants. Gotta love 'em. :D
