He was only an elderly gentleman, hitching a ride on the misty wet Highway.
I asked him where he was heading, and he said he had no real destination in mind. He then said "That is beautiful music you're playing. Who is it?" I told him it was "Various Artists - Pick n Mix Volume 2 from a great netlabel called Faturenet".
His eyes lit up with excitement. He said "My name is George Ripley, and I am the greatest travelling salesman who's ever lived! There's nothing I can't sell!".
I noticed that he had a small briefcase on his lap, and said "So what do you sell these days? Insurance? Pensions? Broadband? I'm just curious..".
He laughed and replied "Oh dear no, my young friend! You see... I sell people their SOULS!".
Inspired by machines, technology and the future. This short but sweet EP starts out with a back to back interpretation of Philip K. Dick classic theory, with some psychedelic avant-garde compositions. It then takes you into a new world, one that was inspired by the Amiga, with crisp hard hitting beats and a chip inspired bassline.
To finish off, the direction changes again into jazz influenced downtempo and nu-jazz, something not logical.
A lot of thought has gone into all these pieces, and hopefully you will enjoy them.

Here's the latest of a streak of fine releases from our label faturenet recordings. It was compiled by me, Sevish, and normalised by Fature.
You should bow to the artists included, as their work represents the type of great music that we attract – and is selected for it's energy, sense of fun and for generally being sick.
Enjoy!
Hellscion's latest EP, "Season of Change" has all the characteristics and dynamics one would expect from an artist of his calibre and experience.
This is Hellscion's first EP released on fatureNet. He has numerous other successful releases and has been included on some other prestigious netlabel releases, most notably “idmf002-Concord” by the IDMForums collective.

This EP comprises of three solid tracks ranging from atmospheric breaks, dark haunting melodies with techno and industrial influences, to up-beat movements and anti-tonal vibes.
