The Backstage was full and the beer did suck :/(stupid kaltenberger beer),at least the people were great ;)
The first band Quo Vadis did play nice death metal but nothing Special
The second band Neaera a kind of metalcore, which wasn't my music taste.

The third band Fear My Thoughts did play metalcore again and introduced them self as "We're fear my thoughts and eat children."


Kataklysm the main act started with like angels weeping in the dark.It was a great atmosphere, an excellent moshpit but they played to short(ca 70min).
The sound was great and the lightshow k, nothing special.

After 15hours of traveling with train and getting a place in the wacken shuttle bus(it was always full) we finally arrived.

Now we had only to get our Full Metal Bag(was the camping permisson) but there weren't any of them left now we had to wait 2hours in the rain for new one.But at least this 2hours of rain was the only rain at the W:O:A!After building up the tent time to enter the festival itself

at the first wacken day"a night to remember" not rly any interesting band only some good old schools bands like The Michael Schenker Group or The Scorpions but then in the night in the headbangers ball room a tent with a stage and a full crowd the mighty Mambo Kurt himself arrived and rocked his instrument

the first day of the wacken open air did end and one problem only one bottle of met left!
Next day time to stand up and go to Wintersun
great sound,nice performance but more or less it was more chilling then moshing at this time probably most people were still sleeping or tired ^^

the next artist i watched Legion of the Damned didn't know them but they're not bad got to buy cd's from them

performance was nice but they could have chose better songs,warmachine and t.n.t were the best they did play.

the next band i did saw was In Extremo german medival/folk metal band.They had a smiliar show to their german tour last year but it was still great everyone did sing to their favourite songs.

then it was time for the party stage and ... Korpiklaani moshing dancing crowd surifng moshing dancing crowd surfing and this all only for beer! beer beer! the atmosphere was über. everyone was dancing moshing and thousands (k not thousands but rly many) crowd surfers were coming

then it was time to get a good place for Children of Bodom
Great light show,shitty sound you did only hear the lead guitar and the performance wasn't the best they did seem all a bit extrem drunkn but that wasn't a problem for the crowd everyone was moshing and cicling and moshing the atmosphere was rly great.

last show of this day i watched was Armon Armath
i did know from the dvd better performance and ~15min they didn't play anything they just showed a viking battel would have preferd to hear more songs but the last 2 songs were again great victourias march and death and FIRE! great end for a weak start.

next and last day first band of the day i watched Arch Enemy dind't know them before i've to say great show performance and i like the music i got now the complete disco and i think they're great.
Still can't believe they got a women as vocalist gain ftl!

then my favourite show and performance from Die Apokalyptischen Reiter the first 2 songs were "weak" but then they started the party played "die sonne scheint mir aus dem arsch" "ghostrides in the sky" "riders in the storm" "kleiner wicht" and and they even brought giantic big red balls for the crowd much interaction with the crowd best live band i know

then came Finntroll good humpa music even with the new vocalistic but he dind't know how to interact with the crowd ;).THe last band of the day was then Subway To Sally great band but i hopped for some better songs but still they were great but they played to short :/
