Autumn Into Summer always makes me feel really good, that whole album in general has to be one of the best Post-Rock/Metal/Whatever releases EVER.

I am also really excited because I get to see Boris play in Portland this weekend, plus I haven't smoked in a while, and I can't think of anything I like to do more than to listen to awesome music while high.

I have been listening to Sparrows Swarm and Sing contstantly as well, amazing beautiful band.

To top it all, the new Yndi Halda Song is exactly what I needed this week.

Up C Down C Left C Right C ABC + Startis a fucking amazing band. It's incredibly well crafted music, awesome post-rock band. I am currintly listening to Shallows, and that song is way too fucking awesome.


Venetian Snares are fucking with my head at the momment. The music is incredible. I seriously wonder what goes through this people's head when they write this. I am pretty in a different astral plane listening to this. It's fucking great.

Four Tet is great chill music. This guy is pretty good at sampling and making pretty cool beats, but the instrumentation is the best. Really good album, Rounds. And they all look broken hearted is possiby my favorite song by him, beatiful stuff.

Red Sparrowes has been rocking my world for a while. Their new album is amazing, and so is their first. Even though now I can't wear an Underoath shirt I got two years ago because it seems bandwagon, the music the year provided us was intense.

First the new The Mars Volta and the new Norma Jean come out in March, Francs the Mute was an amazing album and still gives me the chills after listening to it for months on a regular basis. O God The Aftermath was a decent album, and it was good to see Norma Jean breaking out of their Metalcore shell a bit.

Then fast forward to discover amazing artists:
Sigur Rós
Pelican
Sufjan Stevens

Whose albums leaked around the same time during summer, and opened the doors to a wide variety of similar artists. And let's not fucken forget
Between the Buried and Me's release of Alaska, that fucken put all the expectations inside a blender and pressed liquify.
