O zamanlar da dt'nin the gallery denilen şık bir çıkışı vardı ama in flames'in gölgesinde kaldı(en azından parasal bakımdan=)). Peki şimdi? Bence in flames inişte çünkü adamlar durmadan clean vokal kasıyorlar ve bu benim canımı çok sıkıyor. O üç dehşet albümlerindeki o kalıptan kurtulmak için çok şey feda ettiler.Nitekim bu üslup değişikliği ekonomik bakımdan işlerine yaradı ama solistin clean vokalleri çok gay yaw (zaten bundan iyice ünlendiler galba). Katatonia da ne güzel doom takılıyordu ama ancak gay olup bebek vokal yapınca ünlü oldu. Evet Gerçek şu ki "goth" diye takılan sayıca baya fazla olan tipler ancak HİM gibi gay vokal yapan grupları seviyorlar, ondan in flamesin gayleşmesi bir bakıma mantıklı olabilir.

Pekiii, DTye gelelim. Dark Tranquilitynin ismi festivallerde In flames'in altında daha küçük fontla yazılsa bile bence şu anda death metalin en sağlam ismi konumunda. Character albümü çok sağlamdı ve daha deneysel ve bir o kadar da kaliteli olan "fiction" albümü ise bence geleceğe iyi bir gösterge. Zaten solistlerinin clean vokalleri gay de değil:) Adamların tek handikapları Türkiyeye gelmemeleri ama affettim gitti. Şimdilik tool ile yetincez...

Katatonia has already gained a certain level of adulation and an aggregate approval from all the fans and deftones fans also(Katatonia was the supporting band and deftones was the headliner..). To alleviate my impatiance, I'm going over the last concert also. What dissapointed me the most was that they only sang one old song which was the classic murder. Their albums before Mikael was their vocalist for 2 years and during his vocal presence (brave murder day, sounds of decay etc.) were never played for the unappeased audiance. but they rocked anyways since all the songs they played were totally awesome. I'm expecting some more brave murder day and sounds of decay songs like

it would be a waste if they chose apathy and played the same new songs from the last 5 albums. of course I want songs like for my demons, deadhouse, leaders etc. but I would like some antediluvian songs from katatonia also:)
has anyone seen katatonia do some nostalgy in their concerts lately???? I would die to see some of their old songs live. That would also apply for Opeth:
