Oh yeah, and the porn party was the cherry on top, except for "The Creep".
The show was amazing, howling, dancing, clapping.
The new stuff was great, the old was even better.
The encore was phenomenal!

This show was a whole lot of good time, packed into a very small space. My first time at the Divan Orange venue, I was a little dissappointed with the yellow-green shade of the couch against the wall. It is a nice venue, though it seems more suitable as a bar, the bar takes up a lot of the prime real estate for seeing the show. I have to say that a good seat at the end of the bar is an ideal vantage point.
Openers Great Northern put on a great show complete with plenty of red lights and long, winding, ethereal tunes.
You Say Party! We Say Die! were super high energy and made a Sunday night feel like the best Saturday you've ever had. For a band I just discovered on Saturday, I have to say this is the best short notice show I have been too. It was like a child's dream. We were all riding little contraptions around town, like big wheels and stuff, and visiting different neighborhoods that were new to us. In one neighborhood there were a group of people playing water games, like slip and slide and such, in a small island of grass out in the street. And they were playing Joanna Newsom, "En Gallop" as we rode by, and I stopped to listen and my friends moved on and I lost them all...kind of sad...I have yet to convince them all of how wonderful Joanna Newsom really is, I guess...]]>
