You might be familiar with the name Chop Black as being one half of the WhoRidas, the Oakland rap duo from the late 90's, who in a time where almost everything coming out of Oakland was coming from East Oakland, birthed a unique West Oakland sound. Their hits "Shot Callin' & Big Ballin'" and "Talkin' Bout Bank" introduced a gritty, yet catchy style of No. Cal Hip-Hop.

Chop, who is also the younger brother of Saafir, used to go by King Saan back then. Under his new name, Chop Black, released a solo album called "Stay Heated"" and his "Mercenary Mixtape" series.

He's currently working on his third solo album, entitled "Community Service". We have his new street banger available for ya'll to check out. It's called "Money 2 Earn" and features Yukmouth. A street video was filmed to the track last week, look out for that dropping soon.
Ohh sh-t! As you may have heard, after serving four years in the feds, Husalah of the Mob Figaz is now a free man again. Everybody is waiting to hear what Husalah has to say and the music he's going to come out with now that he's out. After releasing a short video of him letting everybody know that he's touched down and he's down good (click here to watch), we have now received the first track since his release.Traxamillion produced the track, which is called "Pray For You", make sure to take a listen below:

File hosting service Rapidshare has been fined €24m by a German court and ordered to filter online content more effectively. German royalties collector GEMA, which brought the case against the company, had called on the Regional Court in Hamburg to order Rapidshare to prohibit around 5,000 music tracks from being made available online.“The judgment states that the hosting service itself is now responsible for making sure that none of the music tracks concerned are distributed via its platform in the future,” according to a GEMA statement (in German).

“This means that the copyright holder is no longer required to perform the ongoing and complex checks.”

Additionally, the court ruled that Rapidshare and other file sharing sites had not taken enough preventative measures to halt copyright breaches taking place via the service.

“The judgment… marks a milestone in GEMA’s efforts to combat the illegal use of music works on the internet,” said the organisation’s CEO Harald Heker.

“GEMA will continue to do everything it can to shield its members from online piracy. We are confident that in this way we will be able to reduce the illegal use of the GEMA repertoire on the internet to a negligible level.”
