With the all too brief Final Coil Festival dates over and the Polish branch of the band indefinitely dissolved Final Coil is on a very temporary hiatus (about 2 months) while Phil moves his stuff back to the UK. In the meantime you can download the ELOR album in full as a .rar file from www.finalcoil.com and a video has been posted on lastfm, facebook and youtube as a reminder of the live dates. Phil sends his heartfelt thanks to Marta, Pawel and Peter for their work, to Jola and Avlime for photos and video footage, to Tomek for guesting on Bass in Starachowice and to everyone who came to watch. FINAL COIL ON STAGE

Final Coil are looking set to play Jasniec on June 22nd and rumours also abound about a concert in August. In the meantime Phil is cleaning up audio tracks from the Ilza concert. Due to limitations in on-site equipment these recordings aren't amazing, but they will go online as a rough and ready reminder of Final Coil's 2008 incarnation. Cowardice Trilogy complete: Third EP NOW ONLINE AND FREE!!!

It's done. The firstphaze of Cowardice is complete. The third (and final) EP is now online for you to download. Entitled "Sacrifice" it contains 4 tracks:
1)Sacrifice
2) Sleep comes
3) The wanderer
4) To recall.

Plans are now underway for an album length release but, after putting together 3 EPS in as many months it is not expected to be completed until late in the year. In the meantime Phil is working on an acoustic EP containing one track from each EP and possibly featuring a collaboration with a flautist... more on that soon. Phil's also still looking for remixers. A remix of Dawn's cold gloom has been done by Tomek Wolski (ex-Metanoia) and will be online soon. Hope you enjoy the EP Cowardice Sacrifice

Cowardice have posted a new song on their website (see link below or www.cowardice.altpro.net) and Lastfm entitled GB. The politically charged song will NOT appear on the upcoming Sacrifice EP which will be out at the end of the month and available here as usual. First off is news about Cowardice. Cowardice is currently completing the third EP (a series started back in February with "Suicide by Degrees") which is currently going under the title of "Sacrifice". Proposed tracks include: Sleep Comes, The wanderer, To recall and Sacrifice. Longer, darker and more oppressive than even the previous two outings, the final EP of the series also looks to be the most rewarding of the trilogy. Cowardice have also announced a possible Punk EP following the rather weird video that was "Cheese". One track - "Punk 0" has been completed, aparantly more is to follow.........

Final Coil are also at it again, but no-one's quite sure what. Rumours that the band will play a festival in une are flying about as are rumours of new tracks, re-recorded tracks and more...... News will be given on that as and when.

New Cowardice

With the second Cowardice EP long completed, work is now underway on part III. The most complex of the three EPS, it will take some time to record and mix everything but with one song (The wanderer) tentatively complete and another (Sacrifice) almost finished, the EP should be with you in about a month. In the meantime a bout of insanity left a rather odd little punk song floating about (recording can get frustrating) and so you can now watch the video for "Cheese". Intended as a way of blowing off steam it is NOT normal Cowardice, but you may enjoy it nontheless. The video is now here in all its glory.

Thanks to everyone who downloaded the first 2 eps, left comments or emails and scobbled tracks on lastfm. I appreciate it and hope that you'll find part III worth the wait.

It has been a busy month at Final Recordings. Cowardice released their second ep, entitled "Failure" on monday through lastfm, rapidshare and myspace, websites had to be updated with the new art work and photography and work has begun on the third Cowardice ep which, at the moment, looks set to be the most folk-y and stripped bare of the three.
