Just had some fun with the openings of the three Austin Powers movies :o)
The second one is not as cool as the genius first and third one. And the third one (Goldmember) has appearences of many famous people (see links below the clips), include the great Q himself, who wrote the title song Soul Bossa Nova in the early 60s.

Well, if you like artists like Antoine Dufour, Andy McKee, Don Ross or Tommy Emmanuel, then you maybe would like to help one young artist to win a competition.

At youtube, I've got a message from Maneli Jamal (maneli at youtube) to vote for his song at Guitar Idol 2009 if I like it. So I listened to his song (see below) and then I checked out the other top ranked entries.

They are all shredders. Some good shredders, okay, but shredders. In my humble opinion Maneli plays much better music.

Maybe you think so, too - voting is very easy and just requires email adress registration.

Juliette and the Scientologists

I always liked Juliette Lewis as an actress and I like her music/band (Juliette and the Licks, or the wrong but more famous entry Juliette & The Licks).

Some days ago I've read, that she's member of Scientology (here's an interview from 2006.). Now I'm confused. Is SC evil or not? Is Juliette a victim of manipulation?

Or is this just the reason why SC likes to have famous members? Am I manipulated when asking me this questions just because a famous person I like is a member of SC? I think so.

Enough serious thoughts, here's some fun, cheers :o)
