The Butthole Surfers absolutely blew my mind. The set list was prime (favorites played: Fast Song and 22 Going On 23), and their stage presence was as abnormal and entertaining as you would expect. The crowd was awesome for the most part, but I would like to send out a big FUCK YOU to all of the big guys who think it's fun to push little girls like me around in the pit and not help us back up when we fall. We don't enjoy spending time on the ground being kicked. Fighting is not what mosh pits are for.
Sadly, Built To Spill's set could not even compare. I was expecting much more from them, but their performance was rather dull and monotonous. Speaking of monotonous, who billed Disco Doom? I have never wanted to fall asleep at a concert before I heard them. It was wretched.]]>
