The questionable item is a promo copy of "Ellipse", Imogen Heap's upcoming album due to release on August 24th. The English journalist James ???ooter (as can be read on the digipak's seal) or his delegate is selling this personal copy of the album two months before "Ellipse" will hit the stores. We all know that the music leaking through the internet long before we can legally buy it comes from promo CDs like this one. It's a new quality of breaking the copyright laws that they are traded open on eBay.

After unveiling this cheeky offer for sale Imogen Heap and some of her fans started raising the bids on the item until it reached the maximum allowed amount of £10,000,000. Wow! What a grand moment to see this bid on Immi's album even if it was just to reveal the impertinence of this offer



Actual state of affairs is that eBay has been noticed about this offer being violation of copyrights several times by different people (including Imogen Heap) but doesn't care about it. The astronomic bids have been removed and the CD is again on offer.
eBay knows it is copyright violation and doesn't care about it!

What about the guy who provided the promo CD for sale? James ???ooter!
This cheeky nut doesn't care about his name printed on the package of the CD. Does he really think this won't have any consequences for him and his career as a music journalist? If not, the paper he's working for would be proscribed for all times in the music business. For the instance that the album has been stolen him this is another proof that eBay is an excellent receiver of stolen goods.

KGRL's Flower-Powered Artists Of The Month

The Flower-Powered Artist Of The Month (FPA) is KGRL's way of giving information and the spotlight to the artists included in the radio's repertoire/playlist.

The Flower-powered Artist of the Month pages are designed to be a vessel of information where artist's fans and music lovers are exposed to visual and auditory overload. The feature provides more than a satisfactory experience in sharp contrast to the usual fanfare/music website mediocre feature. KGRL seeks not only to include the usual biography and information (that can be found elsewhere) but they love taking it up a notch and provide "researched" and "tailored" informative interviews (video/audio/transcribed), CD reviews, photos, and artist/management provided exclusive materials (video/audio).

In May 2008, KGRL started the FPA Live Sessions. The featured flower-powered artist is invited in-studio to perform exclusively for KGRL.
The video and audio are shot in high-definition (full 1080-HD / 96kHz 24-bit wav). The FPA Live Session performances are streamed on-demand in the artists' pages in flash and WMV-HD (720p) format. DVDs of the Live Sessions (AVC-HD 1080p & DVD format) are given away for free to the station donors.
