Yep, Arvikafestivalen, 3-5th of July. After having a look at the schedule ver 2, here's the list of artists which I'll see there:

Alright, Arvikafestivalen took place a couple of months ago. It was really one of the best things in my life so far. And what acts did I really see? Well:

Slagsmålsklubben, Kent, Death Cab for Cuite, Robyn, Familjen and a half song by Hot Chip. Not as expected, that is to say. But still, it was one hell of a experience - see you in Arvika '09!

Best of - The Offspring

So I've been really into The Offspring lately, listened to the whole discography two times in two days. So I found it natural writing a journal, with the best/worst songs/albums etc. I'll make a first, second and third place in every category.

First off; Best album.

1. Americana.
By far the best album. Contains classic songs as Have You Ever, The Kids Aren't Alright, No Breaks and Walla Walla.

2. Splinter.
Contains one of my favourite songs - The Noose. Hit That was one of the first songs I ever heard, a great song as well.

3. Conspiracy of One.
A great album as well, with Million Miles Away as one of the best songs.

Next category; Best song (yeah, boring, but I can't leave it out). This is a very hard category, as there is so many great songs. Well:

1. The Noose.
This is incredible. One of the best songs I've ever heard, no doubts.

2. Have You Ever.
With this outro, Offspring have managed to create magic. Simply magic.

3. The Kids Aren't Alright.
It's so sad, the song about the kids whos life didn't end up as expected. And the intro is so freaking awesome.

This next category is kind of hard to decide. The worst songs don't get stuck on your mind, so it's hard to remember them all. I'll give it a shot - Worst songs:

1. Demons.
It's not bad, really. Just kind of boring.

2. L.A.P.D..
Same here, can't say it's bad, but just nothing that gets stuck. Boring as well.

3. A Thousand Days.
Really boring. Nuff said.

Lillasyster - Umbrella (cover)

I don't like the song Umbrella by Rihanna. Maybe it's her voice, I don't know.

But when I see this, I can't help but be impressed. How Lillasyster managed to make something so-so (read: bad) to become.. well, if not awesome; really good! Very impressive.
