Julia Nunes - obvvvviousssslyyy. Also, hilarious.
Amy Millan and Torquill Campbell of Stars - and also the rest of the band really, but they stand out since it's a vocal-centric unit. They threw roses at the crowd when I saw them live, and gave off this wonderfully energetic yet unrockstary vibe.
Lily Fawn of Hank Pine and Lily Fawn - Adds the essential streak of adorable to their macabre storytelling. She is all bouncy and exuberant live. It is wonderful.
Panda Bear solo and of Animal Collective - So charmingly good-natured.
Regina Spektor - Listen to her sing or speak anything and it's difficult not to fawn a little. Dauntingly intelligent as well.
Kevin Barnes of of Montreal - Oh, Tim, Wish You Were Born a Girl is just about the most adorable piece of music anybody has ever made.
Zooey Deschanel of She & Him - Yes, I am one of the many enamoured by her waaayyys.
All of Tally Hall - <3
John Darnielle a.k.a. The Mountain Goats - His banter (which I've sadly only experienced through youtube thusfar) makes him seem like just about the most loveable human being that could possibly exist. And I can't imagine listening to The Sunset Tree without being consumed with the overwhelming desire to give him a giant hug and never let go.
Sia - If anybody is adorable, it's Sia. She is charming and funny and writes music that bleeds soul but also takes time to sing back-up for Flight of the Conchords and be a wickedawesome person.
JOANNA NEWSOM - Obviously someone of remarkable talent and possessor of a really lovely creative voice, interviews also reveal her to be soooooo adorable.
