Having lived in Stockholm for about 9 months now, I've finally realized what's going on with these latest hip girls' style of singing. Singers; such as, Lykke Li, and El Perro del Mar keep singing with this whispering tone, sort of like a little girl. Well, how they come up with this style is bound to being used to living in apartments in good old Stockholm, especially in places like Söder -where artists and musicians mostly prefer to live- they have these old buildings way far from being sound proof. If you open the volume a bit, a neighbour might pop up at your door. So if you're a suffering musician your only choice is to keep your voice down, consequently after a while it becomes a habitual action. I have nothing against it actually, i like the sound of it. =)

after cam denuzio, maura davis has also blogged on her myspace that denali's back together with its original crew. i already can't wait to hear the new songs, and hear maura's enchanting vocals- she being my favorite female singer of all times. i really liked the other projects they worked with too especially maura's ambulette, and keeley's sparta, but none rocks harder than denali.

...what, what is the next concern
too perfect, too perfect it's a possible return
to the open wound but i know how to help this one out
so here comes your turn
now I'm feeling something tonight...
