Both times I've attempted to add one since the change there has been some type of looping in the form before it will eventually send me to the 'event added' page hours later.

For the Empires show it wouldn't let me add the venue, just sent me cycling back to the same page. Now with Jason Mraz at Aragon, it's refusing to send me past the final detail page.

It's completely frustrating and the whole thing is highly discouraging. The first is to listen to the 10,000+ mp3s in my iTunes and weed out all the rifraff. These namely being songs that got rec'd or downloaded off mixes and compilations that I don't like but never got around to listening to and/or deleting.

The second massive project is going through my 1,000+ cd collection and cateloging it. In addition I'm figuring out which cds to pack away, not having enough shelf space for all of them, and which still need to be loaded into my iTunes and subsequently my iPod.

What I'm noticing is that the cds I listen to all the time aren't on my computer and the mp3s I listen to the most frequently I don't actually own cds of. Just a weird correlation I suppose, but after having made this discovery I've realized that in order to get the cds onto my computer I'm going to have to delete roughly 1/3rd of my mp3s. Though my listening habits aren't anything like normal and since neither my iPod music nor the cds I listen to get added on I really shouldn't be suprised.

Still, the artists I have the most songs by are on the top. This is logical as I mostly have my playlist at work and home on shuffle so they'd come up random more often. But then you get the wierder trends that my various media players get into. For instance, my work one refuses to shuffle in songs unless they've been played over five times. It's utterly ridiculous, but there you have it. It also has an over fondness of Marvelous 3. Not that they weren't a great band and I don't love their work, but I've only got one ablum and they consistantly show up as a high play count. My iTunes at home is an entirely different story. It apparently loves Hanson and Death Cab for Cutie who both come up an inordinate amount of times. My iPod is obsessed with Bright Eyes and Muse, so the few times I've managed to both remember to shut off my iTunes AND plug in my iPod for an update in the morning that shows.

In the past couple of weeks I've taken to only listening to playlist which cut out the artists my media players obsess over (well, except Rufus, but I was in a mood). It's nice because more of my actual playlist gets play and I get to hear songs I haven't in awhile.

I guess all I'm saying is I wish 'shuffle' actually meant 'shuffle'. As in randomly play ALL the music, not just whatever meets some ill-defined preset for sorting that the programers determine.
