Then, I find this site, make a profile, and listen to music. I get friends to join, we make groups and compete in minor competitions. Then, I start joining groups, and I like one of the group leaders a lot. Next thing you know, I'm writing songs for her, I'm always talking to her on here, and I'm telling her she could be the one true love meant for me! The gang war of way back when gets a boost, kicking up some old emotions, and one of my better friends become a mortal enemy by hanging out with a girl who hates me for no reason. I used up all of my resources and connections to do more than I usually do in an entire summer, and I'm figuring out a way to meet the girl of my dreams. I kick back and cut on some music, only to hear a love song that reminds me of my girl. I cut the TV on, only to see a soccer game that I know she is watching. I play a game, only to discover that virtual death can't distract me from her. I write this journal about her, only to hope that she will read it and know that I have fallen madly in love with her. Well, use your genres to your advantage in getting new members. Overdrive, try to expand genre borders by adding more names of stuff in the title, like saying we accept multiple genre, because I believe it only says rock. Add other, like punk, techno, etc. Everyone (me included) needs to get more people to actually make a profile on this site. So get on your MySpace, add all of your friends onto Last.fm, and make them join here! And remember, this site is open to those of ALL genres. I started a thread for different genre recommendations, so if anyone needs recommends, then post what you don't like on the forum as a thread, and those who do like that genre can tell the genre haters some good songs. The whole point of that thread is for members to extend their listening boundaries. And remember, don't quit adding. We can't have too many members. However, our first big goal would be to get to 10 and get charts up and running. We got 6, so let's get those last 4 people and get this group moving!

I forget the site, but somewhere you can check your OMI, or Open Minded Index. By typing in your name, you can see your genre variety. Now, mine was 87 (not the best, about average), Overdrive010, yours was about 40-50, from-hate-2-me, wouldn't run yours because you haven't listened to music. This leads to my main conversation. You must go to users, find people who have good compatibility with you (preferably medium +), and send them a group invite. Here is a good example of an invite:

Hey, I think you would fit in the group Bloody Demise, come join us!

You can make the group thing a link to our page, but i don't remember how. So get inviting everyone!]]>
