Having played with our Wiki contents a bit recently, I noticed how badly in shape some of those entries actually are. I started cleaning up a bunch of them, but soonish realised that it would take me another ~4500 years to finish my task editing all of them.

So now I have a cunning new plan: I need _you_ to the rescue! Have a look at your overall charts, pick ten of your favourite artists and go have a look at their Wiki entry.

Most of them will actually have a fairly reasonable entry already, so I don't expect you to write 10 fresh Wiki entries over the weekend - don't worry :-)

But here are a few tricks to improve the usability of our Wiki:

- Make sure only external links use the [*url] BBcode markup!
- All references to artists, albums, tracks, places, tags, groups or users should use their according BBcode pendants!

A few examples (remove all the "*" asterisks below when actually using them!):

For artists: [*artist]The Beatles[*/artist].
For albums: [*album artist=The Beatles]The White Album[*/album].
For tracks: [*track artist=The Beatles]Help[*/track].
For tags: [*tag]Rock[*/tag].
For places: [*place]Rock[*/place].
For groups: [*group]Another group[*/group].
For users: [*user]muesli[*/user].

You can find a little guide with all supported BBcode markups here:
Last.fm Forum Markup

And here are a few examples of artist wikis that could desperately need some loving:

Bad Religion

Mirwais

Jurassic 5

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Kid Rock

Morcheeba

Wu-Tang Clan

Jamiroquai

Thanks for your help, rock on!
...muesli
