Given that I've been a subscriber for several months now, and have purchased somewhere in the vicinity of 60 new albums in the past month I think it's about time for me to making more use of last.fm as a whole. A lack of motivation, increase in movie watching, and no real mood for a particular genre as of late has really cut into my music consumption as of late. Now that I'm finally ripping all of the new stuff I'm starting to put some focus into a lot of the stuff I've picked up.

A few of the high points in my purchases this past month include Lupe Fiasco's "L.A.S.E.R.S.", Cure's "Disintegration", and Yelle's "Safari Disco Club". I think as I develop more time to sit down and listen to stuff in full I may even start writing pseudo reviews or something. Being that I'm not really a blogging type though we'll see how hard I actually stick to this. It would be awesome if last.fm could kick start some serious interest in music for me again. I love the idea of it, I just think maybe the lack of interaction that I have on it leads me to neglect it a lot more than I really mean to.
