I had never seen Flogging Molly live before, and I must say that it was enjoyable. The lead singer's current looks mimic that of Alex Albrecht, with the short blond hair, black-rimmed glasses, and clean-shavened face. All the members of the band were very energetic and new how to get the crowd moving.

Being a concert in Minnesota right before the 2008 GOP Conference, they made a clear point of linking the stories about "arseholes" to the upcoming Republican event (both cheers and boos rose from the crowd).

For being a free concert, I was surprised when they played for almost a full TWO HOURS! I would love to see them again, so let's hope they enjoyed The Minnesota Irish Fair as much as I did.]]>
