It's hard to believe I only discovered Placebo two years ago, when a friend of mine was sending me various music. This was some of it, along with some HIM and Tool. The other two didn't really stick - but this did. I love Brian Molko's voice, the tunes are catchy and thoughtful, and it makes a welcome change from the pop that seems to fill my music collection :P

Nancy Boy was the first track I heard - I liked it a lot. It made me want to download all the rest of their stuff, and so I did. Love them.

Family Force 5

I'm not quite sure how I stumbled across FF5, but I'm glad I did. It's one of those few albums that I've loved every single track from, and thus it was hard choosing a top 5. It's amazing how many plays I've registered, since they've only released one album. But...wow. Really alive and exciting music, love it.

Whilst this choice may be a bit embarassing - there's not a single SS song I don't like. They're all either really upbeat and happy, or beautifully sad. First listened to "Laura" when it came on the music channels, and I didn't like it at first. However, after a few listens through downloads, I soon progressed to love their debut album, and instantly liked Ta-Dah.
