Promising you guys to put up demos occasionally and then not do so for more than a year. Ashamed is what we are! But to make it up to you, we’ve compiled a big and final load of tracks including bangers like “this is the club”, evergreens like “small procedures” and the evil “satanic song” featuring Christian Hjelm of Figurines fame. Yup, it’s all in there.

As stated earlier - some material is almost written, some half done written and other stuff never even got close to half finished. All songs however are mere sketches. We never got so far as to bring any of them to a studio and record them properly.

We all know summertime is the best time to listen to tiger tunes and there’s really no reason to continue reading this, when it’s possible to head over to DOWNLOAD/MP3 and start up some hardcore downloading.

Marie has started up her own solo project Marybell Katastrophy (www.marybell.dk) and Mr. Q, K. R. Hansen and Moe wanna be bad guys in beta satan (www.betasatan.dk), but this mail really goes out because of some new mp3's we've put up on our website.

As some of you clever youngsters may have noticed!? More than a year ago we stopped working in this band. Stopped rehearsing, stopped singing, stopped playing, touring and obviously - stopped writing music for this band.

Prior to pulling the aforementioned plug we actually did write and demo-record a number of songs. Songs demo-recorded over a period of a year and a half. Material meant to build the pool from which we eventually would have picked out a dozen songs and recorded them for the second album.

Needless to say that things didn’t exactly progress in the way we thought it would. Few things do! Some material is almost written, some half done written and other stuff never even got close to half finished. All songs however are mere sketches. We never got so far as to bring any of them to a studio and record them properly.

This Christmas just as earlier years we met up to celebrate our friendship at the annual Tiger Tunes Christmas party. We had, as always, a lot of fun and we would be lying if we said we weren’t mad drunk and ended up dancing in the streets half naked.

More importantly and to the point of this message – we decided to begin putting some of the demo material for the second album up to download. We hope some of you can enjoy these songs even though they never got as finished as we would have liked them to be. We may put some other demos up sometime and pull these first ones off again – so get ‘em while you can at www.tigertunes.dk under DOWNLOADS/MP3!

We won't be sending newsletters out anymore but we might update www.tigertunes.dk with news, songs, videos or whatever once in a while.

It’s been quite a while since we last told you anything from the world of Tiger Tunes. I guess it’s because everybody really have used the time to kick back from all things tiger. School projects, working, producing albums and making other music are just some of the things we’ve been up to since we played the last show back in October… Which was a great concert by the way and we had one hell of a time (that may be due to the minibar on stage). But let’s get more into the current stuff happening:

Marie has her new solo project up and running – it’s called Marybell Katastrophy and she’s just finished four very nice songs that you can download at her website – http://www.marybell.dk/ – it’s possible to order a cd too. It’s been busy times since we started out promoting our album two years ago and lately it’s been hard to find the motivation to create new exciting songs.

In the line of us not promoting the big “rock star”-life, here you have a list of the pain-in- the-ass stuff you have to deal with in a hardworking band:
- Listening to weird Indian chef trying to perform weird throat singing.
- Constantly not knowing if it’s fish or chicken on your plate.
- Sleeping in strange German houses with spooky dolls all over.
- Pushing a Ford Transit across the island of Sjælland in a blizzard.
- First arguing that the Swedish youngsters are weak drinkers and then spending long hours talking Swedish police out of putting unnamed band member in prison for being very drunk.
- Almost being arrested for obstructing Swedish police while putting unnamed very drunk band member in prison.
- Having your Tiger mascot kidnapped by East German punks.
- Being hit on (like you’ve never been hit on before... dude! seriously) by seemingly lesbian former popstar.
- Writing and writing a never ending flow of letters to ‘The Edge’ with questions and advice requests – only to be let down again and again by no answer.
... yes well this list could go on and on

We’re all terribly sad to let our fantastic fans down this way but for the time being that’s the best for us.

We will however play the scheduled gigs in our hometown of Aarhus and hope to see your smiling faces and dancing legs in the front row.
