The last days I listened to Depeche Mode's Sounds of the Universe from time to time, I noticed this cool synth in the background from In Sympathy starting at 2:32 (you have to listen properly ;-).

And I thought:
"Wouldn't it be great for a tiny and discreet ringtone? Yes... but... hmm... where is the part with this stand-alone synth-sample. I'm sure I listened to this in the past - where is it? Maybe in another track?"
After a lot of music-in-my-head I've found this very very similar sample at one of my favorite artists Stendeck. The song I mean is called They've Tried To Drive Away But... - rather it's a little-known title from Stendeck because Alessandro (the man behind this project) has released it for free on an italian net compilation (weblink at the bottom).
Here the synth is omnipresent (especially from 2:55) and when you get it you would directly know what I mean.

Maybe it's "only" very similar, and I think it's rather improbable that Dave Gahan & Co. ever listened to this song from Stendeck. But... if I would now live in Lugano, Switzerland and have a great talent, I would be slightly proud. ;-)

März ist in der Live Music Hall schon die III. Orkus Festival Club Tour. Covenant ist eigentlich ein Pflicht-Event, aber 30€ für eine Band, für die ich normalerweise nicht mal 20€ bezahle, sind mir dann doch noch eine Überlegung wert.

Immerhin treten ja auch noch mehr Bands auf und Samsas Traum wird alleine schon genug Fans anlocken. Ansonsten noch dabei: London After Midnight, Emilie Autumn und Minimal Terror.
Da unsere Gruppe hier aber doch noch ziemlich jung und klein ist, wird es sicherlich keinen geben, der dabei sein wird. Oder doch?

Vielleicht sollte ich mir jetzt schonmal Gedanken über die Konzertbesuche machen, Überschneidungen sind ja leider eh kaum zu vermeiden. Ich hoffe, ich habe keine Künstler in der Liste vergessen?

Hach ja, aber was freu ich mich auch schon auf das gute Essen - da wird doch wirklich jeder Vegetarier zum Schweineliebhaber ;-)

Sollte man übrigens unterwegs mal auf jemanden treffen, der nicht ganz so schwarz gekleidet ist und in der Menge eher nicht wie ein "Grufti" wirkt, dann könnte es sich vielleicht um mich handeln. Aber da man hier mal wieder Freunde und Familie trifft und vor allem ohne die Musik nich kann - ist es halt ein Muss!
