It’s hard to believe but come November, run will be celebrating 5 years of putting parties on. From our humble first party in an old warehouse in Hackney Wick, through to excursions into east London bars & clubs via old factories, warehouses & boats, we’ve played host to a admirable line up of djs and producers from across the world and it’s been a trip all the way.

The party season started with an almighty bang last month with our Yore Records party with Kez YM & Patrice Scott & now after nearly 2 years of emails, phone calls & missed meetings we have finally managed to secure a very rare & exclusive date with none other than Detroit’s Keith Worthy!

Keith Worthy (Aesthetic Audio – Detroit)
Audio Dependent [live] (Metroline Ltd)
Alex Fisher (runsounds / After-Dinner)
Russell Skellon (runsounds / Motronic)
Chris Box (runsounds / Netaudio London)

:: Saturday 28 Nov 2009
:: 10pm – late
:: £8 limited adv tickets now available via Resident Advisor: http://www.residentadvisor.net/event.aspx?122072 / £11 run mailing list / £12 door
:: BG’s Niteclub, 71 Shacklewell Lane, London E8 2EB

We've managed to book a tried and tested venue for this party -BG's Niteclub on Shacklewell lane. It's got a great little smoking area & it's a place where we can be guaranteed to bang it out as we'll be bringing in the Funktion One with extra subs!

Although Keith has played festivals & clubs across Europe such as Fabric, Panorama Bar etc to great acclaim, it is a rare occasion indeed that we get chance to see him play at a party in the UK – let alone headline the main room!
Read the full story here: http://www.runsounds.com/artists/211/

We’re also very happy to be able to welcome our good friend of many years, Audio Dependent, into the fold!

It is with great joy that we are able to announce our forthcoming collaboration with Yore Records. Having been keen supporters and friends from the earliest days of Yore it's been a real pleasure watching the label grow into one of the finest standard bearers of quality house and techno around today.

Patrice Scott (Sistrum / Yore – Detroit)
Kez YM (Yore / 4lux recordings – Tokyo - Exclusive European Debut)
Alex Fisher [live] (runsounds / After-Dinner)
Russell Skellon (runsounds / Motronic)
Chris Box (runsounds / Netaudio London)

To help us mark the moment we have none other than our man from Detroit - Patrice Scott. Patrice will be making a very welcome return and will be finishing off what he started last time ie rocking the dance floor with his super deep & tough Detroit sounds.

In the past we've always done our best to push new music and this party will be no exception as we will be bringing you the European debut gig of Japanese hotshot Kez YM! In addition to djing and running his own club night in Tokyo, he has recently made his mark as a producer with his debut release out on Yore. Despite being a newcomer the release has quickly garnered international praise and has also been played by a cat named Moodymann...

Filling in the gaps will be runsounds crew with a live set from our analogue master Alex Fisher and dj support via Chris Box and Russell Skellon.

So come join us on a trip taking in slow burning deep house, live jacking beats, classic Detroit and late night techno with a healthy mix of the latest treasures as well as some forgotten gems. The venue for the party will be released closer to the time but rest assured this is a return to form with a great location in a cool space where we can party the night away in true run style!

Friday 25 Sept 2009
10pm – late
£10 / £12
More info here: http://www.runsounds.com/events/209/Patrice ScottKez YMAlex FisherChris Boxdeep housedetroit technorunsoundslondonSistrumYore

Netaudio’08 will take place from 22nd to 25th October 2008 at Shunt Lounge, London SE1. It will celebrate the creative output of networked musicians and online communities with talks, workshops, showcases and performances.

Netaudio’08 will play host to a broad range of live musical acts all the way from well established musicians through to undiscovered new talent – the only criteria is that they sound good and that they engage via the medium of the Internet. Musically Netaudio’08 will provide a programme spanning genres and cultural boundaries and embracing the widest possible selection of sounds humming through the Internet.

Within the conference side of the festival, Netaudio’08 will explore the creative practice and merit of digital networking tools. Workshops will share knowledge about music production and digital distribution whilst presentations will take a lead in the discussion of altered user behavior in the networked society – both aiming to engage the thought provoking process of music production, distribution and consumption in an age of networked communication.

Wednesday, 22 October
Doors 6pm-11pm, bar till 1am
Kahvi Stage with:

Brandy Alexander Project ft. vj Mutech
Xurba
Lackluster
Abyssal Plains

Lounge Stage with:

Mo Sauer
Sven Swift
Autistici
D’Incise

Audio installations including Animate Objects, Web Stream Boat, Archisonics, New Transmission Models, Isolated Response, Sonification of You, Motion on Sound

Netaudio Market open 6pm-11pm
Sound Cloud Media Lounge
free for Shunt members / £5 on the door
all info subject to change

Thursday, 23 October
Doors 6pm-11pm, bar till 1am
Last.fm Stage:

A.R.E Weapons
SJ Esau
ddd
DJs from Ulterior
plus very special guest

Lounge Stage with:

John Eden
The Village Orchestra and Production Unit

Audio installations including Animate Objects, Web Stream Boat, Archisonics, New Transmission Models, Isolated Response, Sonification of You, Motion on Sound
Netaudio Market open 6pm-11pm
Sound Cloud Media Lounge
free for Shunt members / £5 on the door
all info subject to change/please arrive early as this night is bound to sell out!

Friday, 24 October
Doors 6pm-11pm, bar till 3am
Netaudio Berlin Stage with:

Cotumo
Liger
Dr. Nojoke
The Passive Resistance
Quarion
teaMore
VJ Duodroume
VJ ’81
VJ N’eye-yah!

CDr special on the Lounge stage: bring your tracks along!
Placard Headphone night in the Media Lounge
Audio installations including Animate Objects, Web Stream Boat, Archisonics, New Transmission Models, Isolated Response, Sonification of You, Motion on Sound
Netaudio Market open 6pm-11pm
free for Shunt members / £10 on the door
Venue bound to sell out, arrive early to avoid disappointment.
all info subject to change

Saturday, 25 October
Doors 8pm-12am, bar till 3am

Netaudio London Stage with:

Mindlobster
Audio Dependent
DJ Forensics
Disrupt
Appleblim
VJ Oli Sorenson (aka VJ Anyone)

Lounge Stage with:
Echonomist
Lahara
Tom Ellis & Leif (aka Trimsound Live)
Steevio & Suzybee
more tba

Audio installations including Animate Objects, Web Stream Boat, Archisonics, New Transmission Models, Isolated Response, Sonification of You, Motion on Sound
Sound Cloud Media Lounge
Netaudio Market open 8pm-12am
free for Shunt members / £10 on the door
Venue bound to sell out, arrive early to avoid disappointment.
all info subject to change

netaudionetlabelA.R.E. This is shaping up to become a great spot with real character and an absolutely fantastic sound system!

In addition to the debauched techno and house of the runsounds and After Dinner residents we’re very happy as always to welcome back a regular guest of ours and pretty much annual resident: Andy Vaz.

Andy will be showcasing a brand new live set full of deep house and techno goodness which he has just successfully taken on the road to the United States and Japan where the response was immense!

Now that the sun is finally shining (although for how long no one knows), run are proud to present a new twist to our winding little trip through electronic music with rungrooves: a little offshoot delving into the deeper side of techno and house music with the focus firmly fixed on basslines & rhythms – the groove. Think of summer evenings with people getting down to some sweet grooves on the dancefloor & just letting go...

To help mark the occasion we have the legend that is Alton Miller – a man with some serious musical history. From running clubs in detroit (namely the legendary Music Institute) to releasing a huge range of music on some of the planets dopest and most respected record labels (KDJ, Planet E, Moods & Grooves, Trackmode, Peacefrog, Mahogani Music, Guidance etc etc) to international dj sets – this man breathes house music and he’ll be playing an exclusive UK date for us as he winds up his European tour. See below for the full bios.

Our second guest for the evening is Neurhythmics head honcho and a very familiar face to Smallfish regulars: Juergen Junker. As well as running his label & doing stints behind the counter at the mighty fine Smallfish, Juergen has also been a resident at LOST (in the Purple area) & SPACEBASE, and has played at clubs like Plastic People, 93Feet East, and parties like Hoxton Pimps, Sud, and LaserMagnetic. Expect some disco, house, his own edits and tracks, with a healthy dose of Chicago’s jack.

Warming up for the evening will be run resident Chris Box who will be taking his cue from the point in time where techno and house sat happily alongside each other and could intermingle freely without fear of being isolated into different genres and sub-genres. Expect timeless tunes from yesteryear as well as a bunch of the latest in deep American & European music as well as a few numbers inbetween.

This is designed to be a more intimate and relaxed event so we’ll be starting & finishing earlier than usual but that doesn’t mean we wont be partying as hard – so come down and join us for an evening of deep grooves. To that end - the party will be at Gramaphone which is a lovely modern bassment space with a newly fitted sound system!

Please remember to email any names for the concession list or get down before midnight for cheap entry!

Alton Miller (Moods & Grooves / Peacefrog / Planet E / Yore / KMS / Trackmode Records – Detroit)
Juergen Junker (Neurhythmics / Smallfish)
Chris Box (run / Netaudio London)

Saturday 28th June from 9pm till 3.30am
Gramaphone
60-62 Commercial St,
Spitalfields,
London, E1 6LT
Cost : £6 b4 midnight or mailing list / £8 otherwise
Alton MillerYorePlanet EJuergen Junkerdetroit technodeep houserunsounds.com
