My first thought was 'rock of sages', which rolls off the tongue better, but I did not want it to be limited to any specific genre, all styles are welcome.

What I'm looking to build here is a collection of songs that explore all facets of the human condition.

Songs that point out the flaws.
Songs capture emotions, thoughts, states of mind.
Songs that tell stories.
Songs that cover the social and political.
Songs that capture the joys and the sorrows.
Songs that are spiritual or philisophical.

Blah, blah, blah....
