İnsanlar güneş doğup batıncaya kadar yaşıyorlardı hayatı. Bir daha hiç olmayacakmış gibi dolu ve anlamlı.Derken zaman diye üç parçalı bir şey icat etti insan.Bir parçasına dün dedi, diğer parçasına bugün, öteki parçasına da yarın.

Sonra fesat karıştı zamana ve insan bugünü unuttu. Dünü düşünüp pişman oldu,yarını düşünüp telaşlandı; ama işin ilginç tarafı tüm telaş ve pişmanlıkları güneş doğup batıncaya kadar yaşadı.Farkında olmadan rezil etti bu gününü.

Oysa yarın, bugüne dün diyor, dünde bu gün için yarın diyordu. Bir türlü beceremedi. Bir eliyle yarına, diğer eliyle düne yapıştı. Bu günü eline yüzüne bulaştırdı...Mutsuz oldu insan. Ve ne gariptir ki yarının telaşı da, dünün pişmanlığını da hep bugün yaşadı; ama bugünü hiç yaşayamadı.Ne yarın ne de dün!

To see the launch of this project not only makes us proud of the outcome of what we have been creating over the past few months, but also fills us with that very same excitement which we felt at the very start of the development of a site to be opened up to the world. With the help of our ever-growing Turkish user base and the rest of the team staff, we look forward to carrying this very momentum to keep improving our services and ensuring that our firm belief in a social music revolution continues to become a reality


And when we credit our Turkish users, we don't mean that lightly either...

Their suggestions and ideas for improving the Turkish site have played a huge role in shaping how it currently looks. Before the official launch, we used their help to test the beta site and host discussion forums about any changes in the term bases and their views on what the Turkish site should be like, which turned out to be invaluable. So to all of those users who helped to contribute; we are eternally grateful!

But hold on, we don't want to stop there! Despite our focus at paying close attention to detail, we folks at Last.fm feel there is always room for improvement too. Türkçe Versiyonumuzun yapım aşaması sırasında Türk site lerinde yaptığım araştırmalar içerisinde şöyle bir yorum dikkatimi çekmişti.
“Lastfm’in olası Türkçe sitesi Lastfm.com.tr domain adresi, 12 Ekim 2006 tarihinde, Last.fm tarafından satın alınmış.”
Böyle bir haberle karşılaşmak insanı gerçekten şaşırtıp, heyecanlandırıyor.. Açıkcası Türk gençlerinin bu bekleyişi bizi çok mutlu etmiş ve daha da hırslandırmıştı..

Kullanıcıların istekleri doğrultusunda bir çeviri gerçek leştirebilmek ilk amacımızı oluşturduğu için, en küçük ayrıntılara dahi önem vererek, ilk andan itibaren herşeyi forumlarımızda tartışarak yol aldık. Resmi sayfamızı yayına açmadan bir süre önce de beta versiyonu ile Türk kullanıcılarımızın tepkisini yokladık.Beta sayfamız test aşamasındayken bizimle görüşlerini paylaşarak, bize yardımcı olan tüm Last.fm kullanıcılarına minnettarız! Yeni sayfamızı ziyaret edip, görüşlerinizi Türkçe Last.fm formunda bizimle paylaşmaya devam edin arkadaşlar..

Bu gelişmeleri takip eden süreçte Türk İnternet kullanı cılarının çok daha yüksek ilgi göstereceğine ve gün geç tikçe bağımlılık yapan bu müzik iletişim ve erişim ağının bir parçası olacaklarına inanıyorum.
