1. Sometimes Things Get, Whatever
---Been so infatuated with Deadmau5 lately. This song never ceases to amaze me with it's greatness.
2. Forever
---So, so chill. Heard this on Caspa & Rusko's FabricLive 37 as the last song on the mix. They definitely saved the best for last.
3. Walking on Clouds
---This song reminds me of driving to the beach. I turn this up as loud as possible and all my cares float away....at least for 7 and a half minutes that is...:)

Okay, so I have been a fan of M.I.A. since 2005 when she first released her album Arular. So for the past, oh, 4 years pretty much I along with others who have known about M.I.A., and her awesomeness have been listening to her music. Now, this little movie called the Pineapple Express has released their trailer for the movie with her fantastic song Paper Planes and all of the sudden, a song which the fans have known about since last year at this time has made the song one of the top sings on the charts today. Not only is this song almost a year old, but the meaning behind the song is not something in my opinion that should be associated with a stoner comedy. Now in no way am I dissing the movie, nor the new fans of M.I.A. (I mean, she is fantastic! How could people not like her?), however, I find it kind of ironic that she has been around for so long and all of the sudden she has been thrust into the spotlight even with just recently retiring because of a song in a movie promotion.

Oh well. At least I can say I was there at the begining and was one of the lucky people who saw her last show ever. Suckers!

So I have not written on here in a really long time and thought that I might post some of the things that I have been listening to recently. Some are old, some are new.

Kala by M.I.A.:

WOW....this album will blow your face off. It is just that good. M.I.A. deffinately does not face the sophmore slump in this album. Fav tracks are Bird Flu, Paper Planes, and Boyz.

We Are Pilots by Shiny Toy Guns:

Good addictive, somewhat mainstream electronic music. Fav tracks are Starts With One and Jackie Will Save Me.

This Is Forever by She Wants Revenge:

Okay so yea I am a sucker for this monotone dark 80's style band. The album is very dark and my favs is What I Want.

We Can Create by Maps:

I really love this album. It's a good chill out cd and is great to relax to. Fav tracks: Back And Forth and To The Sky.

We Are The Pipettes by The Pipettes:

This album is just fun. When I listen to this I just think of the 1950's and poodle skirts. Favs are Why Did You Stay? and One Night Stand.
