Back when I was in middle school, I went to a couple "big" concerts with my family. I dont remember that much about them so ill just list them without details haha.

Nickelback w/Default
Van Halen w/Rose Hill Drive

Then, im estimating this next show at 2004 or 2005, it was the first small show I went to, with a couple friends. A couple hundred people could fit in the venue, but I swear there was only about 20 people there.

The Cloves w/The Republic @ El Corazon, Seattle
This show was amazing, both are small, local bands, but they are excellent indie pop/rock musicians, and it was a great experience. I still remember the bass from the RePublic blowing my mind.

-----------------------

I didnt go to another show until last year, 2009. I dont know why, but I just had forgotten how great a concert was.

----------------

2009

My first show back was 1077 The End's "Lonely Hearts Convention"
Audrye Sessions/The Airborne Toxic Event @ Neumo's, Seattle
I went to see Audrye Sessions, and they were very good. I saw 2 other bands that opened for them, but I dont remember much about them. They were okay but not really worth mentioning. The Airborne Toxic Event was headlining, but I left before they came on because my back was so sore. Yeah, its sad, but I wasnt used to standing for so long(haha, wow.)

After this show, I started going to more shows, as it refreshed how amazing a concert experience can be.

Audrye Sessions w/The Lonely H @ Neumo's, Seattle
This was Audrye Sessions first headline show in Seattle, and it was amazing. I went with my brother and we had a really good time. AS is great.

Audrye Sessions @ El Corazon, Seattle
This show had fun., Audrye Sessions, and Manchester Orchestra. I am pissed at myself because at the time, I didnt know who fun. was(f..king amazing, love them) and we left before Manchester Orchestra came one because we were uncomfortable in the venue, which now I look back on and shake my head at.

The Fall of Troy w/The Dear Hunter @ Neumo's, Seattle
I went to this show for The Dear Hunter, but I also love the Fall of Troy so it was a great bonus to see both bands. TDH was a great live performance, I only wish they were headlining rather than FOT. Fall of Troy came on and the energy that came with them was just amazing. They played alot of older songs, which was good because I am not a fan of their most recent 2 albums. I love the self titled, ghost ship EP and Doppleganger, so it was great that they played about half older songs.

2010

March 31, 2010
The Fall of Troy @ El Corazon, Seattle
The Fall of Troy's final tour, final Seattle show =/. The story to this show is funny because I was supposed to go to the Kiss Kiss show, but the venue was 21+ ONLY, and my plans for that day had all gotten cancelled, so I drove down to Seattle, hoping to be able to get into the Fall of Troy show. Sure enough, I got in, and it was f..king amazing. SO much energy, this time I got really into it, headbanging and dancing, but still not going into the mosh pit haha. It was a f..king awesome show, and im sad its their last. Thomas said some words about it being their final show :). I never met them, but they graduated from my high school 1 year before I started.

April 10, 2010
Jonsi w/Death Vessel @ Showbox SoDo, Seattle
For those who dont know, Jonsi is the frontman of the Icelandic band Sigur Ros. He just released a solo album and is doing a tour for it. To start the show, a lone man walks on stage with a guitar and starts playing. He is known as "Death Vessel". I had never heard of him, but he was pretty good. Then Jonsi & band came on, and wow, it was mindblowing. This wasnt just a concert, Jonsi hired a production company that puts on productions for theatre productions and plays to create a physicial and digital atmosphere for the show. Using props, as well as multiple projectors and lighting set-ups, this show was spectacular. The visuals were simple, yet powerful. At one point during the show, my jaw was open for 3 minutes straight, completely in awe of what I was experiencing. One of the best shows I have ever been to.

April 15, 2010
Foxy Shazam @ El Corazon, Seattle
Hands down, my favorite live show. Foxy Shazam has been one of my favorite bands since their new album leaked a few months ago. Since then, I rediscovered their "Introducing" album, as well as listened to the new album(almost 900 song plays in 2 months). Not only do I love their music, but Foxy Shazam has proven to be one of the most unique, entertaining, and amazing live shows ever. Lead by singer Eric Sean Nally, he introduces every song with either a joke, a line of commentary, or an interesting(and usually fake) story. He eats cigarettes at every show as well. Its pretty insane, and crazy to watch. There was so much energy at this show, first time I was in a mosh pit. It wasnt a big one, but it was still my first time haha :P. Eric is insane, but hes such an entertainer, it makes for an incredible show. he stage dove numerous times, one time asking people not to catch him haha. Ending the show by hanging from the ceiling like a bat, then carried off by a big black man as he said to the crowd "I wish I always had a large black man to carry me off stage".

April 17, 2010
Foxy Shazam @ Satyricon, Portland OR
After seeing Foxy live 2 days before, I was so blown away, I had to see them again. So on Saturday, I drove down to Portland(3.5 hrs) and saw them again. I would say this show wasnt as amazing as the first, but it was still insane and a great show. There were a couple douchebags and they almost started a fistfight in the middle of the show, but thankfully they didnt. This time Eric ate 3 cigarettes at once, he stage dove like 6 times, and someone crowd surfed up on the stage and kissed him on the head then stage dove. This time Eric's hanging from the ceiling was more insane because he was directly over the crowd hanging on this little bar that had a couple lights on it, ridiculous. I had a chance to meet Eric and Sky before the show, but Im a p.ssy, all I had to do was walk over and say hey, but I just sat there like a fug.

And thats it as of now, but I have 3 shows coming up within the next 3 weeks, will update this post probably-

April 22 - As Tall As Lions @ Neumo's
April 27 - A Day to Remember @ Showbox SoDo
May 10 - 30 Seconds to Mars @ Showbox SoDo
