yes, i was looking for an Italian post rock band track I downloaded from epitonic which most have been even more years ago
and that turned out to be Our System from Candies

while i was there i decided to see what i listened to back in my senior and junior years of high school. That summer I played my first Tinnitustimulus show, and still couldn't drive.

I was pretty intrigued when i heard this and I'm pretty intrigued now. Really intimate, naivete, delicate, sad folk song. I think I used to say I hated folk music but I dont think I really knew what I was talking about because I seemed to enjoy this.

whatever happen to that organic/glitch style? everybody is just way into times of tapes and synths and computers are somehow a faux pas in the process. Digital effects in sound are about the same as the effects in Photoshop these days, it has to be subtle or at least enhancing.

But it seemed like at the time this was forward thinking to use computers for sound, it was so unlimited in what you could use for source material, how small to cut it up and how much easier it is from splicing tape.

I think this was UBUweb related, but i dont know for sure, I was hoping the track named GX meant GX Jupitter-Larsen and it ended being 30 seconds of not much, so it very well maybe.

I remember liking the cymbals on the track I heard, but not knowing anything else about her are her projects. the bio makes her seem like something to look up.

of course, I was listening to wolf eyes, whitehouse and just starting to know the harsh noise classics, but my big thing was Pauline Oliveros Robert Ashley, real early electronic music was very important to me in those days, as I was trying to understand sound through rudimentary means too, and found their ideas fascinating. Still do.
