Leaden Clouds, it definitely sounds like something moody, bleak and gloomy. Still, hopefully not. :) This set turned out to be a literal journey into the land of clouds. It literally sounds like music of clouds. Gradually, piecemeal, step by step it draws you into one linear flow where only wind and air have some weight. First track, like dark and frantic rush through faceless nocturnal forest, finally leads you right to the precipice. But you don't fall, you get catched by the wind and fly over it, right to the clouds. Enjoy the flight. :)

When almost simultaneously I dropped out Mentalism and Sonic Downpour I thought that this would be my last effort in a very long time. I've even had some thoughts sparkling on my mind that I've managed to settle the goal of these sets, having revealed and covered most, if not all, ideas I've been meaning to cover at the outset. Although I may admit this to be holding true, nothing will be set in stone at this point. Lapsit Exillis, a compilation comprised of what I'm finding the most fascinating and desirable in music — depth. Having spent some time in order to figure whether or not am I capable of providing sensible descriptions for particular sets, I've figured that I don't have such talent. This is just too intuitive, and concealed. Leaving this another mystery for one's personal revelation.

This set has very special meaning to me. First two tracks are deep chillout and trance pieces - far from all this psychedelic clutter. It then comes over to more or less traditional downtempo/ambient, pulls in some tasty hypnotic beats and finally, provides traditionally awaited immersion at long last with Asura, Hol Baumann and Miika Kuisma, who grants us one incredible epicness, which can't be described with words. I can barely condone a set without a touch of depth. And I think I was able to stick its feel in this set as well.

Sonic Downpour is how I called my next chillout set. Most of the tracks you're about to hear resemble a water game. So, what else would be the most relevant in this note other than my sincere congratulations addressed to all of you (and to myself too, of course) that we have passed another milestone. Aqua Regis, or «Royal Water» — according to rumours — special chemical solution intended to dissolve the so-called «royal metals», or noble metals, gold and platinum. That said, this mixset is a musical interpretation of aqua regia (or aqua regis), intended to do the same work, but in musical context. Oceanic sounds, mellow yet driving, are here to bring you to a new mental and visionary dimensions.

P.S. This is my last set for the near time, since just in about a couple of hours I'm making a trip to Black Sea for a month and will not have any access at all to the virtual world once I arrive there. So, in order to prevent long and empty pause here, let this to be a humble spice to this forsaken profile. :)

It's always hard to come up with a description as soon as it comes to music. Those words that are usually intended to do that encompassing work (be it "dark", "beautiful", "melodic" or other) are more likely cliche-words rather than any sort of useful tools able to help you to accomplish that intention. Either that, or you should possess a poetic gift in order to synthesize superficial parts and erect one organic image.

Meta Rotation is something that couldn't be translated, because it's comprised out of two words which in this case can only be perceived as symbols.
Overly dark, cosmic and definitely esoteric, this mix exposes sacred sides of traditional ambient soundscapes, which are dark, and yet something prevents you from classifying them as "dark ambient". And that's quite a trip.
Obviously the most mysterious journey I've so far had a chance to pull off and put into a set.

One of the most relaxing compilations I've ever had a chance to make. Ethereal, cloud-like immersion into the deeps of mind-melting minimalism.

Actually, a temporal step-back from the peculiar ambient/psychill stream towards minimalistic-orientated context. I've been meaning to pull off a compilation like this for the past several months now, which was some kind of a latent wish, because this isn't really the music I'm normally into. Anyway, here it is; finally I've been able to put my hands on it and I think it isn't that bad. :)
