During the first listen I thought my favorite song was Sea Legs. Then I thought A Comet Appears was just as good. Now, after a few listenings I realize I can't pick favorites from this because it's all so good.

I am a night person. I have 8am classes but I have to force myself to get into a mood to sleep by relaxing and doing something that works my mind some and calms me down before I can peacefully sleep. I found that doing linear algebra or solving sudokus at 2am can help. I usually listen to one of two songs on repeat while doing this. Those tracks are Everything in Its Right Place and Nightswimming. I don't know why these tracks works so well but for this mood if one doesn't work the other always seems to.

I realized that I tend to listen to certain songs and artists when I do certain things. I listen to Goodnight Goodnight by Hot Hot Heat while running, especially while running in the rain or fog. I often listen to Sleeping In by The Postal Service while falling asleep. I love blasting Marilyn Manson while driving late at night. The Postal Service cover of Such Great Heights is fun to blast while driving around my neighborhood. System of a Down and Louis XIV are fun to blast while driving just after school. Although Kasabian is good music for working I've listened to The Faint mostly while working recently. I also really like Red Hot Chili Peppers as working music. REM is great music for working or falling asleep to. There are plenty more songs, artists, and albums I like for different things but I'll spare everyone and listen them another time.

This song makes happyfies me. It brings back sentimental thoughts and I love listening to it on repeat. The quiet guitar riff and the drums that repeat throughout most of the song are wonderful. The louder part makes the song less peaceful but it fits so well. The guitar solo is awesome too. This song is warm and fuzzy.

Pennywise has a cover of the song Stand By Me originally by Ben E King. I love the original version, but I am not sure whether or not I like the cover. The cover is very modernized and very punk. I think it is good that the cover is different because it would be pointless and horrible sounding if Pennywise tried to copy the original without adding their own touch.
