OK then folks. Well this is My Endeavour . And for those of you that don't know them. They are a group of four fine Gentlemen. From The South Coast of England. That make very fine rock music. They are. Tim Seymour [lead vocals & rhythm guitar]. Mark Linkhorn [lead guitar]. Leon Willoughby [bass guitar]. And Daniel Sheikhian (Shakey) [drums].

My Endeavour are a 4 piece hard / melodic rock band from
the south coast of England U.K.

With a shared passion for a great melody and tight musicianship they have become known for their powerful and emotive rock tracks comprised of killer riffs, huge power chords, thundering drums and infectious choruses, that once heard will never let you go.

With a growing worldwide fan base off the back of the release of their demo tracks throughout 2007 & 2008, this "rare rock partnership" of melodic and hard rock is set to take My Endeavour all the way to
the top.

In 2007 their demo track Disappear received 2nd place in the international song writing competition run by songprize.com.
Within the same year Losing Sight topped the soundclick.com rock charts.

At the close of 2009 they released, to critical acclaim, their 1st studio single titled The Hunted closely followed by The Fallen in early 2010. With further recordings planned throughout 2010 they hope to have their debut studio EP Re-Invention ready for release later this year.

During 2009 My Endeavour secured some high profile support slots with GUN, InMe, Blaze Bayley, Logan & Attack! Attack!.

The journey continues into 2010 with the focus on recording some new material as well as re-recording and re-working the old demos and with new faces comes a renewed passion for making some great new rock music !

Now what I really want to say here. Is that this fantastic band. Really need a lot of support for their continued music making. By way of us as listener/fans. Buying their great music. You can do this by clicking on either of these pictures. And following the links On their website.

Our great support for the band. Will then hopefully allow them. To continue onwards with their plans for a great new CD. This would have already been released. Had it not been for the current financial situation. This is a harsh reality I know we all have to suffer. But a few pennies or cents from each of us. Will really help My Endeavour go a long way to producing this. In what must be a long-time dream of their's. And a real upcoming pleasure for us.

So finally, I have to say. This in no way makes them charity cases at all no no no. But as with all independent artists. That are without a current record label and contract. They can only support themselves. Through whatever funds they get from us, their listening and music buying public.

OK well I'm asking for votes from all of you again. This time it's for Detox Cute And The Beauty Junkies. Who are connected with us. In 'Unsigned UK' & Unsigned Christmas. And this is involving Christmas in a big way.

There is a poll placed on Myspace for which I will leave you the link here at the end. And this is for a 65,000 membered group on Facebook. To give their backing to an anti-X Factor UK Christmas #1 single.

Now Detox are hoping to win this poll. And gain that backing from them as well as us.

I have discovered that you can vote on this poll as many times as you sign-in to your PC. So please do remember to do that. And please share this with as many people as you possibly can.

We are talking huge numbers of voters & buyers here. As the record for the UK Christmas #1 slot is held by Leona Lewis with sales of 105,000 for that week alone. Are you knackered with just 10 days to go until Christmas?

OK well those of you that have also joined us in Unsigned Christmas. Will know that we now have 17 very fine tracks there to listen to until January [The 5th I hope].

But for those of us here in The UK. This is the one we want to chart. this coming Sunday. Here is my unilaterally copied message to everyone.

OK well everyone seems to be backing something or someone. For a real XFactor alternative UK Christmas #1 this year. So here's my tip Please follow the link. And then click on the top line. Those being Detox Cute And The Beauty Junkies from Brighton. And it's an original composition by the pair of Popsters themselves. And not some rip-off song that has already been flogged to death. Please do join all our groups and get yourselves involved. We won't be the one's to blame. If YOU leave it too late to vote for YOUR favourite artist. By golly I have told people enough about all this.

Voting is open to artists and listeners alike. But we do ask that artists don't vote for themselves [ha I'm stating the obvious now] And it should all be quite clear now that I got the ball rolling on all of that.

OK well what's left to say? OH yes do please have a great Unsigned Christmas 2009. And a very Happy Unsigned New Year 2010. And for those of you that don't celebrate it. We hope you have a great time anyway.

From Unsigned Christmas OK well I hope these rules are the fairest they can be. For our new fun awards for Unsigned performers. That can be found here on last.fm. As I have put in the heading these are amendable for about a month. But I am sure everyone will understand. That this can only be suggested to. And carried out by one of the group's co-leaders. These are Acuvi sussilo scramuss and myself vjsupersaint
This hopefully will save us from wholesale mayhem and confusion.

Please do not use this thread for amendment suggestions. Please approach one of the afore-mentioned leaders. Failing that please use the shoutboxes within any of our groups. OK so just a few rules then.

1] All Unsigned artists with music on last.fm are eligible for nomination. However they must have at least one full preview. And/or at least one free download track available for listeners. To help us all to decide on what to vote for.

2] Any artist nominated. Must be a member of at least one of our Unsigned groups. This helps everyone in so many ways. But mainly these points. The artist gets a track connected to the group's *playlist*. The listener gets to hear and enjoy that track. And all members are able to communicate with each other through threads or shoutboxes.The leaders can also multi-message all members if neccessary.

*In the Chrisrmas group all tracks are supplied. And even especially made for the group. By the artists themselves. A sure sign that Unsigned artists are the most generous in the world.*

3] Suggestions for nominations can be made by any group member. And approved by one of the group leaders. But please keep this sensible. A limit may have to be applied in an amendment. Of maybe 5 or 10 maximum nominations per member. This all depends on the amount of support this multi-group project gets.

4] Artists may not nominate themselves. Your fans/listeners/friends will do this for you. If they are a member. You can nominate a fellow artist. Again they do have to be a member of one of our groups though.

5] For the sake of group harmonies. Under no circumstances will a nomination for. Or votes by an artist[es] that have made trouble for fellow artists. Or indeed for any listener on LastFm be accepted. Any complaints received. Will have to be investigated by one of the group leaders. In other words, please show one of us the proof of this. I'm really sorry that we have to imply this rule. But it hopefully acts as a good safeguard for all members.

6] For goodness sake. Please have fun with this. And share us with as many of your friends as you possibly can. Nominees will be accepted until December 31st 2009. And the winners announced on some cold night in what is renowned to be the most depressing month of the year. That being January 2010. Please can we have some suggestions for a date in our shoutboxes thanks.

And artists please let all your listeners know. And listeners please share this with all your friends here. Hopefully this will make this a great and meaningful bit of fun. For a couple of months this winter.

Now no-one has actually given us a proposed date for this. Although I did ask. So I propose either Sunday 17th or 24th january 2010.
This will help keep the traditional post-Christmas blues away I hope.

Now as for voting. How about we start on Sunday 8th November 2009. And close on Sunday 10th January 2010. This gives us a full 2 months to listen to and vote for our favourites. With plenty of time to listen to all our Christmas favourites during December too.

So as you can all see. That gives us a week or two just to check that everything is right at the end. And that we are suitably well in anticipation of results night.

Now here is how our votes should look with a little sample here. Using bands as an example.

1. My band-10pts.
2. Your band-7pts.
3. Her band-5pts.
4. His band-3pts.
5. Our band-1pt.

The top five scores of 10-7-5-3 & 1. Will be universal right across all our groups. I was going to create a league table. But with around 400 connected artists. Over what is now 8 groups. That would be just impossible. So if anyone can make this better. Please let us know how.

I did try experimenting with a few ideas to help make this easier. But of course none of it worked. I'll copy this to the 7 participating groups that we have. But please see carefully via our connections as these are all the nominees. And via the awards threads in each group. As this is what we are voting for.

Not all connections are active here on LastFM. But rest-assured awards only go to those that are. This is why we need a week or two at the end of the voting.

Hope everything is crystal clear now.

1. Cup for favourite artist.
2. Trophy for favourite band.
3. Four awards; Two for vocal solo performers. Female & Male. And the same for Non-Vocal solo performers. In the regional groups. The vocalists and non-vocalists are combined.
4. Best Music Video.
5. Best Songwriter.
6. Best Song. [Up to & including 2009]. This will be yearly from here on in.
7.Best Album. [Same rule applied as in category 6].
World Awards ONLY!
8. Best Christmas Song.
9. Smiling Through The Music Award. And finally!!!!!!!!!
10. The Music Award.

Explanations should all be with each award. So there's no confusion among us. I apologise now. That I can only use English as a language in which to say all this. So thanks from the four of us. Unsigned America was opened by Daniel Chappell aka scramuss on 12th June 2009. Now Daniel is an all-round great bloke and music artist here on Last.
And not only is he a vastly improving artist. Which shows throughout his music productions over the past year. But he also gives his time for running our group. For listeners and artists with an interest in music that comes from The American Continent. For which anyone is most welcome to join.

October Musicfest [Section 2] UK.

Right well here's the UK section of great music that you may never even have heard of from group. 'Unsigned UK' But first of all I need to add an amendment to the Europe section.

sussilo Or DJ Sussilo as she now is. Has a show that is broadcast from warm web radio. And it is on from 2200-2300 on Fridays and 2100-2300 on Saturdays. These timings are of course CET. So British and Portuguese listeners will need to take it as an hour earlier. Worldwide listeners will have to check their clocks. I believe these are temporary timings until the station is up and running fully. So you'll need to check back regularly on that. And also we all know that Susanne is an avid supporter of unsigned artists. So once the station is fully underway. Let's plague her station manager. And tell them what she really loves to play on the radio. I can highly reccommend the show as it stands though for all listeners of pure rock and it is called Facelift.. Because most of you will either stay well within your safety zone. And only listen to what you know. Or only listen to what names are being mentioned by friends at school/college or at work. Or just buy what you think is cool to impress your mates. Because the media told you it was.

OK well I can't change that on my own. But at least now you've been told by someone else. Who will not only listen to these artists. But will support them as much as is humanly possible.
